  • I can not remember when I last had donuts. My mum use to buy them for my brother and myself as a treat when we were kids. The donuts use to make a mess of my hands and mouth.Speaking of food,I use to love chicken nuggets when I was a teenage but I have not eaten them for years.Wheras I use to buy dairy milk chocalate, snickers as a kid and I still do today. What sort of food did your mum or dad cook for you growing up.I noticed that we dont speak much about anxiety. If you want to speak about it sometimes, then feel free if you need to.
For some reason pizzas from the shops, takeaway seem to be usually covered in cheece, which makes them unhealthy. The pizzas I make at home are still tasty dispite being cheece free.As long as you keep an eye on the pizza whilst its cooking,it does not burn. Are you someone that worries about the calories in the food you are eating or does it not bother you.I do try not to eat too much fat and sugar.I also walk quite alot each week to excercise. At the same time food is something to be enjoyed.I do enjoy eating chocalate and have done regularly since I was a kid.Do you have any food that you eat as a treat
I enjoy preparing my own meals from scratch.Today I made myself a pizza myself from scratch. It took a couple of hours because I had to wait for the dough to raise. It was fairly healthy because I used no cheece.Do you cook.It snowed today in London and I was worried about my plants growing in containers.A couple months ago I bought fleece, etc to winter proof them.Luckily they all survived to.When I was in the garden too Blue tits came to use my bird feeder. They happily tucked into the seeds along with a Robin. It was a beautiful scene and it was the highlight of my morning.Do you have any favourite birds that you see in your area.
Do you find it difficult or quite easy to be friendly to customers.Being able to turn on a smile at will and be cheerful to strangers is a skill I think. Some people can do that fairly easily and Im left thinking sometimes ,how do they do that.Lol.I have done jobs in the pass that involved alot of customer interaction.I was able to do it but it was not part of the job that enjoyed.I felt uncomfortable and very self concious. My present job means that I spent most of my time in the kitchen cooking and my job does not require me to have much to do with the customers directy. The work I have done on myself over the last few years has helped me feel more comfortable with people like customers.More often now Im less iritated by them but its still not my favourite part of the job.If you dont mind me asking, how does your brother feel about you and do your parents get involved.
If you dont mind me asking, how does your M.E affect your anxiety or vise versa. One saying I try to live by is to treat others the way I would like to be treated. When Im begin to feel irritated and angry at someone I try to remember that saying. Its not always that easy though. Its almost xmas time again.Do you find family social occassions hard work or quite straight forward.I find them tricky actually due to the pressure to have a good time. Its just my mum, brother and myself and at times I do enjoy their company, particularly my brothers.Alot of the time though we dont have a laugh together and things seem serious between us.The strange thing is I like making people smile and I can be quite funny but Im often not that person with my family.Do you know what I mean.
Its too easy sometimes to just go to the GP and get prescriptions for things like antibiotics when like you said the body will get through it by itself.Saying that when Im coughing and sneezing I sometimes take medicine to ease the symptoms. If the medicine is available it can be hard to not use it.Aren`t the symptoms of ME tough to deal with day in day out.Having to deal with anxiety on top of all that, takes alot of strength.Hopefully you reliase that and maybe take some pride in being able to keep going. Im learning to be kinder to myself and recognizing the fact that Im a strong person that has to cope with alot. Its too easy to undervalue personal accomplishments particular if like my case, there are self esteem issues at play.Ihave been working on improving my self confidence though.
I recoganized the name but I dont know much about the condition. What can be done about it medication wise etc.In some parts of the world such as the US,antibiotics are given to animals.Leading to bacterial resistance. Is Whooping cough a problem in Scotland.I read about TB making a comeback in parts of the world.MRSA is problem in hospitals.I saw a program a while ago about medical progress. They qere speaking about the use of Bacteriaphage to treat resistant bacteria.Facinating
What are you learning at the moment in your studies.A couple of weeks ago on the BBC there showed a science program about the evolutionary battle between the immune system and invading viruses. The clever strategies viruses use to fool the cells so they get inside. The cells and immune systems have tricks of their own too.Facinating show.I just noticed on your profile that you have ME.If you dont mind me asking. Is that the chronic fatigue illness.
Mr Google is kept busy I imagine.I use google and wilkapedia fairly regularly to find information.Lol.I have this image of you in my head practicing your welsh accent.Im not bad at doing accents.I like Rob Brytons accent plus he is quite funny. Its interesting that some people in Wales speak Gaelic. On Virgin media they have started to broadcast S4C a welsh channel. At times I get the sense there are tensions between some English people and some Scots,Irish and Welsh due to alot of history. Is there much tension between the Scots and English in Scotland.
Thats odd that no support is available for your course. The online courses I have read about includes a tutor who offers advice if needed.Accents are interesting.Which are your favourite accents to imitate. Were I volunteer in the park there is a scottish guy who works as one of the senior staff.I have only met a couple of scottish people in London. They were both friendly.I met the other scot at Capel Manor college in my gardening course.Do you get many English people in Scotland
Hi.Actually Im keen on the reginal accents in the UK,just not posh ones. The Birmingham accent,Irish and scottish accents are some of my favourites. Are you doing a correspondance or an online course. It is certainly cheaper than studying at college.Actually I was thinking about doing an online gardening course. The stuff you are learning sounds interesting.Vaccination and the body is very interesting. The immune system and the way it works is amazing.Actually years go I went to uni to do a degree in Immunology and Biochemistry.Various issues meant I failed the first year but Im still interested in the subject. What things about the way the human body works do you find really interesting.
Hi.Im normally not too keen on posh people to be honest. Its wrong to judge people by their accents and without knowing them, but really posh people irritate me.But I actually find Stephen Fry quite interesting on his QI show.Maybe swearing does annoy me more with age. What offends people differs from person to person though.Things like people spitting in public, littering, swearing very noisy people, probably annoys quite a few people but they feel like they can not do anything about it.Anyway these things annoy me alot less than they use to due to me working on being less concerned with what strangers are doing. What sort of interesting things are you learning on your course and which college is it based in.
I have already spoken recently to my gp about NHS councelling. In the mean time Im working on dealing with my anger and frustration issues. Is that an issue for you.Its the latest issue about myself that I want to tackle. Whilst I writting this lots of fireworks are going of outside. The real loud once are quite anoyying but some of them are pretty too.Is Holloween something you get involved in.
It was my choice to stop seeing my therapist. With her help I have made alot of improvements in my life, but I had not been making any really progress the last few months though. The sessions are also ajite expensive plus I had been seeing her for a couple of years. It was a tough choice but I want to go it alone for awhile and then get short term counceling on the NHS.Have you seeing any good therapists
Okay.I do try to treat people with respect since regardless of race, sex, nationality people are of equal value. However Im only friendly to people I like or those Im trying to get to know.I stopped seen my therapist now after seeing her for a few years.
The problem is that the bad traits in people when manifisted into action, is easily seen and noticed.Violence, agression ,etc. When people demonstrate the good in them it is usually to love ones, friends or in ways that are not always seen that easily. The danger of people only mainly seen the bad in people is that it may lead to people stopping caring about strangers or people they dont know well because they think thats the way other people think and act.Im speaking generally and not specifically about you.Western society was what I was referring to.There is a sense at times in countries like the US,in Europe, that these are the best places to live because they are so modern, civilized, advanced and affluent.I dont think that is necessarily the case because I dont think happiness should be judged by how many things a person earns or how the person looks. That seems to be the main criteria for happiness in the west. Not everyone thinks that way but alot do.
Death Note and Vampire Knight and Azumanga Daioh haha of course all ones i haven't seen! have heard good things about death note! i've seen things like bleach, fairytale and gintama!
At times I have strong feelings of dislike for strangers in general. Its hard to see the good in strangers at times but I try to remind myself that some strangers are probably friendly nice people. Its interesting how some people feel more of connection to other cultures. At times there seems to be a western arragance in regards to our culture. This culture comes with positives and negatives. Buddism us quite popular in the Far East is it not.
Is that Band Really called Good with Grenades. Some of these group names are daft.Lol.Some of odd band named that are bizarre are Raging Speed Horn,Dogs Die in hot cars.Every culture has its good and bad points.Do you perfer the Japanese culture to the western culture. My anxiety tends to stay at a steady level alot of the time meaning its not excessive but its always there. You mentioned avoidance. What anxiety causing situations, events do you avoid.
