hi! i just wanted to say that i love your signature quote: "Are you really living, or just surviving?" I think it perfectly describes alot of people with SA, and one of the reasons why I really tried to do something about mine, cause I just couldn't take just "surviving" and feeling like a mere ghost on the face of the planet, and wanted to start livinggg.

but anyway, it really is a perfect question to pose for SA sufferers. it makes you think =]

Actually, my therapy was completely free. I felt as if I was robbing someone every time I went because I never had to pay for anything. It was through a local university and was funded by the state, I think. Of this fact, I feel even more guilty for not going anymore because so many people in my position would kill for that opportunity. Yeah, I was never ashamed to reveal anything to the therapist, for all the reasons you mentioned... they've heard it all before. I let her in, then closed the door.
Since you think therapy would benefit you... do you have any close friends that you're able to talk to in the same manner? Spilling everything onto them.
