Where I currently live I can't have pets. I'm really an animal lover so it sucks not having a dog or a cat around. I enjoy having something to take care of. So I thought I'll buy a nice indoor plant. I was driving back home with it and (gawd I laugh at the most stupid things  ) started laughing at me and my pet plant.. I mean, what can I do with it? Playing fetch? I'll be doing all the work, I could take it for a walk down the park and throw the Frisbee to it but I might get a few strange looks.. Sit it on the couch next to me at night and watch a movie.. I need to find a name for it too. I already have Wilson - the actual volley ball with the red hand print from the castaway movie - so I guess it'll be the three of us.

It's starting to get a little crowded here.. :p
The old neopets website was actually originally designed for college kids and people who lived in places that couldnt have pets. The nthe kids found it and took over and the site went downhill

what was my point? 👵

oh yeah, you could look into virtual pet options if the plant doesnt quite meet the itch, or befriend some local strays who'll swing by and visit when suits them. Or make a pet rock and play fetch by throwing him (or her)

I'd probably end up feeling guilty having a pet rock that I threw around.. I'd feel like I was in an abusive relationship and I was the abuser! I mean, imagine having a pet hamster and taking it to the park to play and you threw him across the park.. 🤔😆

Awe no pet allowed is horrible! I shudder at that idea...
What about volunteering at an animal shelter? That might help you feel closer to animals and you’d be doing a great thing for them helping out. I know here you can just play with the cats for example to help them feel less stressed while they wait to find forever homes. Just try not to fall in love with every one of them! 😊😻❤️ Dogs too of course they also would benefit!

An interesting talk on BPD from Jordan Peterson

knowing what I need to do but somehow never being able to implement any of the actions is frustrating af. Definitely one of the more annoying aspects to having BPD, the hardest one is definitely the abandonment issues or the intensity of emotions though

Yep, totally get you Loyal. For me it's implementing those things, but for some reason down the track not being able - or more accurately - wanting to stick to them. I understand it has to do with the dichotomous thinking (black and white thinking), it's either all or nothing and I can flick between the two. Abandonment issues are problematic for me too. I will be the most loyal friend you can ever have but if I perceive that person I'm showing loyalty to doesn't feel the same way, I'll wipe them. There's no middle ground. That mindset has protected me (psychologically) in my younger years, up to my thirties I guess, but as I look back I can see it became damaging. It stopped me forming friendships and connections increasing my isolation.

Yup, it sucks.

Man I hate study at home.. I've never been so prone to procrastinating and just putting things off. At least if you have to front up to class a couple of days a week it keeps you on track.. when I'm doing the work it's no problem. But I just keep putting it off.
Every day I'm like..
