Have I offended anyone in here?

I ask the question, because it seems like I offend people quite a lot, especially given how little social interaction I have. And I offend people grievously. But I don't really know how I do it. I was wondering if perhaps I've offended anyone in here and, if so, maybe they could explain how I did it. It might be helpful.

I think some offenses online are unavoidable because it's so easy to misread people, but you'd be far from the only one doing it. Many forums have regular flame wars. Sometimes it's not anyone actually being offensive.

I haven't seen anything offensive from you, though.

You want to know how I got these scars?
I find it offensive that you would think you've offended me when I can't recall anything offensive being ...said in...an...offensive.........way...

Hmm...
let me rephrase that.
No. ;)

On the mod side of things, we usually get reported posts, we have not gotten any.

I understand how you feel. Every now and then something sets me off and I slip and react in a flippant way. Even inadvertently offending people is inevitable.

"A man with no enemies is a man with no character."

I remind myself of this quote and remember it is OK to ruffle feathers every now and then.

At the risk of offending, that quote, and i understand its meaning and all,its meant to make someone who is offensive to people, feel better about being offensive,by accusing people who aren't offensive to other people of having no character.

Accusing anyone of having no character is always going to be offensive i would imagine so that quote in itself is offensive,i think there is plenty of people out there with no enemies who have character, and i understand its not meant to be taken literally but still its about making you feel better at the expense of others, its a kinda"nice guys finish last"type of line.

Am i now being offensive?

I've never been offended by anything you wrote.... but now you have me curious on how offensive I come off because I constantly worry I do the same thing!

I was thinking about this. I really don't think I have enemies, because I don't get angry. If someone is angry at me, I usually assume that they are right and I am wrong.

Usually. I prefer to think I am right even if I already know I am wrong. That is probably a form of feeling that I am always wrong yet I still try to argue my points and hope that I am not wrong.

I make people angry, and try my best not to say or do anything that will exacerbate their anger. I am as compliant as I can possibly be.
