What Have I Done All Day?!

Don't think - just DO. That way you'll be busy making tacos for dinner and that will cure your procrastination. :)

How exactly does that cure it? Do you mean by feeling good about the fact you're making tacos (i.e.- getting something done)? What about all the important tasks left to be done?

I ask because I do take 5 minutes out of my day to make a list of what to get done, and I still fail. lol

For myself, I spend a lot of time thinking about what I should be doing, and then in that time I've wasted time trawling the Internet or whatever. If I thought less about that, and actually got up and done it, I would feel a lot better in the fact that I've achieved something, and in turn it would make me determined to keep that going.

If you make a list, stick to it. Variables can come up during the day, of course, but try to stick to it and you'll see what can be achieved. It doesn't have to be a list to save the world, but just smaller errands. I need to do the same thing sometimes.

Think less..think less.. think less.. that'll be pretty hard but I'll give it a shot.

I have days like this where I go by without getting much done and I feel so disappointed in myself. But today I did get much done, thanks to time management skills.

It's 5:30 in the evening and I haven't done a thing all day! What happened to organizing and doing A, B and C? Instead, I waste time on the internet, only to lay down intermittently for a break. I'm like a Muppet!

:kickingmyself: Me, banging my lazy Muppet head.

haha! lazy muppet head. actually that is kind of what that emoticon looks like.

me: well, you know. on here, whining about my school work. on Pinterest - looking at all the yummy food stuff and pretty photos, then back on here, then onto DrOz.com, so yeah, I've been very productive too (not really...typing a few sentences for school was the most I've done today.

I still haven't done the paperwork that I was procrastinating on. I need to mail it tomorrow morning before school.

Tomorrow morning, I guarantee it. I will be running around like a chicken without a heard. I must love torturing myself.

I've been doing the exact same thing these past few weeks. Wasting time on the internet and then at the end of the day, asking myself why I didn't do what I was suppose to do! Urggghhhhhh!
Work with me here, brain!

Yeah, I'm going to tutor my nephew today, call my insurance about a mistake they made on my bill and hopefully swim.

But, I really should be doing 10X more than that! Given that I don't have a J O B.

At least that's something, and you're not sitting in front of the computer eating Cheetos and canned spaghetti in your underpants. Hmm, that does sound awfully tempting....

I've done heaps today! Quite proud of myself that I managed to tear myself away from the computer. In 10 minutes I'll be off to work for a few hours, so that's more time away, which is good. :) If I can keep this up, I'll be doing fine!
