I spelled it however Google spelled it. :D The fact that you remembered I spelled a word wrong however many eons ago is disconcerting.

Sorry about that. You did spell it correctly according to the Oxford English Dictionary which is the authority on this matter. I have a really good memory, and remember all sorts of stuff. One thing I obviously did not remember is how to spell "synecdoche".

I am highly intelligent-in fact a member of Mensa. This alienates me, I've discovered my own mother avoids conversation with me because of my vocabulary (WTF?!?!) ::eek::

OOOOoooo, I'm jealous. Though of course, with great intelligence comes great..... um, I'm not sure. Insight and therefore depression. Lol. At least in my understanding.

But still, I'm jealous :)

Do you see other human beings as silly little ants worthy of being crushed?

Just kidding.

Not at all.
Indeed, cognizance is a burden, acuity hurts.

A quality I'm proud of is having the ability to make people laugh :) Being SP kind of limits me though but to those who I can open up too at school, I can make them laugh.
I'm also proud of being the 'girl-next-door', 'down-to-earth' kind of girl

I'm alive, although I'm not necessarily happy about it.

Maybe... I'm somehow still compassionate towards others? I can't say I've ever gotten anything positive out of it, but it's supposedly a positive trait. I'm the only one at work who doesn't feel "forced" to put on a smiling face towards customers. Then again, anxiety's nervous smile kind of does that work for me. >.>

Oooh. Cool! Sometimes intelligence can be a burden of sorts. I obviously wouldn't know, but I've heard that highly intelligent people have a hard time relating and making connections to the rest of us. This could all be poppycock, though. What do you think?

 Why do I detect sarcasm?
It is true. I have a really hard time relating to others, and others find me didactic. I am, however, good at keeping myself entertained. You might call it a double edged sword. I live in a fascinating microcosm of my own design, but it leaves me terrible isolated. I am happy inside my mind, but when I turn away from my inner world and look around me I am so alone, and it scares the crap out of me. I go out less & less.

My ability to tune out my depression for a bit by indulging in some junk food while surfing the net or while curled up in my bed watching the animal channel.

Okay, so maybe that's not such a good thing....

^ Hey I do this too. Not while watching the animal channel though. I just indulge in junk food and surf the web... Or I watch a funny show/movie. Works every time. :)
