Next week I promise to throw some pics in this thread. Though I can't promise anything too exciting. I'll probably upload pics of books, CDs, ticket stubs, patches, and action figures. And maybe guitars, too. Oh, and dice. Lots of dice.
It's a bit harder to post a pic of my collection of info on favorite musicians' gear that I find online. The big ones there are Type O Negative (Kenny Hickey and Peter Steele), Andre Olbrich (Blind Guardian), and early-'80s info on Yngwie Malmsteen.
Oh, and I have a small collection of fantasy movies. I especially enjoy the crap from the '80s. Movies like Deathstalker, Conquest, Krull, Conan, etc. You know, the whole "let's cash in on the slight popularity of that Dungeons & Dragons game" generation of crap. And yes, I do have the Dungeons & Dragons movie, too. ::

I have quite a few books and a mini cd collection (I'm working on it! I'd like to buy all the albums that I have already downloaded on my computer). I used to collect stamps, still have that album around somewhere... And I used to collect money from other countries, but again, that is a very small collection. When I was younger I had a collection of Lion King stuff and I collected Ty Beanie Babies, which I still have packed away somewhere upstairs.... Jesus, I have a lot of crap now that I think about it... Time for a yard sale, I'd say!

i used to collect so many things..
i have a collection of key rings, rubbers, rulers, pencils, and spice girls and pokemon stuff.
i also used to collect pennys... and would save up till i get around £10 and i go exchange them for a cash note at the bank.

I have 2 big boxes full of comic books. Most of them are #1's or 0, 50, 100, etc I never really cared for comics growing up except Spawn and Bone, but I collected the rare, special ones as an investment for the future. I'll take a pic later, they all have cardboard backings and plastic bags and are basically brand new. Also have a ton of sports/game cards in binders with the plastic sleeves.

So here's my puny music collection and my books. My computer library has so much more, I definitely need to buy some albums to add to that collection. As for my books, I love reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, but basically any book captures my interest. I apologize for all the attachments and the blurriness of some of the pics. It didn't look good taking a pic of both shelves, so I took separate shots.

As a kid I have collected football cards, GoGo's, Pokemon pogs and still have them all
But not now, I collect nothing at the moment.
Yeah I remember collecting baseball cards (a few football as well) when I was a kid. I had big shoeboxes full of them, and liked to trade with friends. I put a whole bunch in those plastic card holders too.
My Nolan Ryan collection was my prized possession!
I still have them somewhere in the closet. I went through them probably 5 or more years ago and looked a few up, but I don't think most of them are worth much. Or if they are I won't know it.
I also remember pogs! lol great past time there.
And yeah fit, I didn't collect comics so much, but I did have a few #1's, and a healthy Ren and Stimpy collection.

^ Yeah, lol. I'm not sure why I still have that album since I didn't like it very much. They're older stuff is way better imo. Same goes for that Blake Lewis cd. I still have it, but I never listen to it cuz I don't like it.Fall Out Boy?

I remember Goosebump books too. I used to have a whole bunch of them, but I never got into them. I'd tried to read them, but it just didn't capture my interest (Shocker! No really, I read everything).
I would just like to give a hardy 'thanks a lot, jerk!' to the OP for making me reorganize my bookshelves. Just kidding. You know us OCD types enjoy it!
Anyway, I have a lot of baseball caps, tennis shoes, various kinds of currency, music, and penguin-y items. When I was a kid, I collected pogs (I gave away my collection!), bouncy balls (still have them!), baseball and basketball cards (I've kept some), and newspaper and magazine articles for my favorite athletes.
My big weakness is books. At one point, I had them organized by era and genre, but that all went to hell. Now it's pretty much whatever fits goes. My cat and fish makes an appearance in a couple of the pictures.

I have yet to transition my room from 'teenager' to 'functional adult.' It used to be at the head of my bed, but I'd wake up in Dangle's crotch every morning, and that got a little old.
Now Dumbledore's Army holds that position.My walls used to be white, but I wanted a splash of color. We had some hunter green paint from an earlier project, so I made my own light green. I underestimated how much paint it would take, though, so I had to keep mixing more after the fact. So the green isn't a consistent color from one wall to the other. But it's dark in my room, so you can't really tell.

It's nice to see what you all are into. I think it tells a lot about you, and if you get that visual aspect it really helps.
Now who's going to show us their toothpaste and AOL cd's collection?
