Do weekends make anybody depressed? The break is nice, but they also make me sad/anxious.

In the past when i was young i used to be depressed in the weekends. That period i was losing friends and i wasnt that used to isolation yet. Very crappy feeling. Now i dont have friends to do something with, so in a way that makes it easier. Allthough this can worrie me sometimes. Apparently im now to much used being isolated thta i dont even care anymore (what makes it harder to recover from it).

Btw Coyote, what kind of store do you manage? :)

I love weekends, so much in fact that I become withdrawn and moody on Sunday night because I know I have to get up at o'dark-thirty the following morning and go back to class lol

That.
Just change go back to class to go back to work ::p:
Weekends make more sense to me. I think it's how we should spend our days. At the end, if we are all going to die it's weird when I look around and see how complicated is our world. If our lives are so short and we don't know what's the point then we should spend our time just trying to feel happy. Utter utopia, I know... lol.

I try to enjoy the weekends as much as I can since it's my time away from that godforsaken school of mine but I get stressed out because my mom makes me come out of the house "So I don't become Anthropophobic" - which I already am in a sense...

She thinks she's helping me by exposing me to people but the more I'm exposed the more I hate it every time and people can sense my negativity and that generally attracts their attention towards me.

Allthough it might feel as if its not helping, it actually is. Because when you start avoiding it can get allot worse than it allready is. When you avoid certain situations because you dont like it you get "out of practice". That will make you even more uncomfortable with those situations. I think its good the way your mom is trying to help you :)

I live for the weekends generally that's when I'm at ease. During the work week there is so much pressure and having to deal with so many people I am not comfortable dealing with. On weekends I mostly get to dictate my interaction levels and just relax.
