I just don't feel equipped for love, when love is all I want. I'm so possessive, jealous and paranoid in relationships (for good reason, considering my past), but it kills, nonetheless. I don't want to be that guy. I guess I have serious abandonment issues.

It's like the more serious a relationship becomes, the harder it gets for me.

I know the feeling. Serious trust issues yeah? Even if youve no reason not to trust someone. You could try and keep the fact youre jealous from whoever you're with. To avoid fights etc.

Though thats easier said than done and im not the best example!

I understand completely!
I think it might be an SA thing.
We don't think we're good enough to be people's one and only so find it hard to trust them.
Just a theory - i could be wrong. But if you think about it, maybe its just automatic negative thinking making you feel as if its bound to go wrong..

Yeah, I mean, people find reasons to love me and have their own reasons... it's just a matter of convincing myself that I'm enough. I know that my automatic
thoughts aren't accurate. Luckily, this person in particular appears to understand and isn't going anywhere, believing in me.

Thank God for that. People usually don't understand and get mad.

Ahhh scary! i had nightmares for days hehe! I always get nightmares when i watch scary movies especially at night time, but i'm so curious to watch them that i do anyway hehe. :rolleyes:
