I've a great idea. Why not save up loadsa money just to treat ourselves?!

I'm tryin' to think of what to treat myself to. I'm thinking massage, cheap cruise (if possible) or a trip to London or something!

If not, there's nothing a few good happy movies, a clean room, incense, roses and a few candles can't sort! (God I'm such a woman!) Maybe find a Buddhist meditation center that's open on Sundays (great for anxiety I've heard).. Sure if you aint got another half - be your own other half!! :) I wanna look forward to Valentines day for once.

i vote for doing pagan dances in the woods to thwart st. valentine, saints hate that
or better yet get a bow and tons of pink arrows to celebrate it, nothing beats target practice with moving live targets.

How about everyone here on SPW sends each other little valentines e-cards -- like we did in 3rd grade ;)

But seriously -- I'll just ignore Valentines day like I've always done. It doesn't bother me at all.

And my glorious cynicism will counter with a perfectly appropriate "Bah! Humbug!". Honestly, there is very little I can enjoy about it. Treating myself, if that were possible, would not dissuade me from the notions and the pain surrounding the holiday.

I hate it too - with a burning passion! But I'm sick of letting it cause me hours, days even weeks of depression. But this time, screw the other person. Other people have done nothing but cause me intense pain in return for my kindness and generosity! I'm gonna make it all about ME!
We owe it to ourselves...

Even when im dating someone i still dont celebrate Valentines day. If I was gonna give someone a gift, i dont want it to be forced, i want it to mean something.

Anyways Im alone and will most likely forget its even Valentines day when it comes lol.

I haven't looked at Valentine's day the same way since I was in elementary school...but then again I haven't had a valentine since I was in elementary school. oh christ.

Since VD is on a Sunday this year, I will most likely isolate myself in my room and not go outside at all except to eat dinner, just so I don't have to see all these stupid couples giving each other sh*t.
