Alcohol-do you or dont you

Not a drop. Surprising considering my closest friend in High School was a bit of an alcoholic (on top of pot) and would ask me non-stop. He said it would make me "happy" and "loosen me up." Yeah, getting drunk is the solution.

Tonight I do. lol Though, I'm starting to feel a bit dehydrated and that glass of wine is starting to look less and less appealing. It would be a shame to waste so I'll drink it after all.

I have never had a drinking problem, I just really love really good beer :p I used to have a nice beer every night, but I've stopped that habit since becoming depressed. Now, it's just the occasional drink. I do tend to rely on white wine when in certain social situations. It calms my nerves and actually makes me a bit chatty.

I've always been a lightweight, but I've never puked from being drunk, so I can hold my head up high and say I'm one who can hold my liquor. :)

But ya, I've always only ever been a social drinker; I don't think I've ever had so much as a beer by myself.

I am the same way. Beer is so gross!

I simply don't like being drunk all that much. It just makes me stupid and groggy. Lowering of inhibitions is often not a good thing either.

I tend to only drink when going out on the town, which isn't very often these days. I usually save it for the times when the right people are around in the right situation, one which I know everyone will be silly and have a good time I guess.. hit a floor and boogie :D

Closet drinker, I am. People say drinking takes the edge off when in social situations. Not for me it doesn't.

I don't drink. Not for any particularly deep reason, though, my current set of medical conditions and prescriptions just make it a really bad idea.

Alcohol... well I steal some from my mom when I'm in one of those despair moments, or moments of intense anger. It's the way I drink it that scares me, as if i'm purposely trying to harm myself, chugging it to forget how lonely I am and such. It's more of a once a week habit so let's hope it stays there, I do not believe in any substances...ha

Only very occasionally now, it used to be my way off coping with social phobia but comes with its own problems. I feel it changes my personality too much and that must be weird for my family. When I was much younger and single I can remember a period when I thought more is better and actually had a couple times were I was so drunk I couldn't remember what I did.
