What do you think of women in bikinis in parks?

This was a topic discussed on the Wright Stuff, a chat show not that long ago. I feel that it is a bit indecent for women to strip off down to their bikini and sunbake in parks when it's hot. It seems that is common practice here in the UK. I goto the park for a walk or just to chill out and I don't like to be hit in the face with that. And no I don't like seeing men shirtless either I get frightened for some reason when I see men walking around like that

This woman on the show said that it's not ok for women to strip to their undies but it is ok to just wear bikinis in the park. Um.. do bikinis not cover the same area if not less than underwear?? Mind boggles.

I think it is ok at the beach though obviously cause you goto the beach to swim, and if certain swimwear leave little to the imagination then so be it.

I approve of women in bikinis in parks.

I also approve of women in bikinis at the mall, at restaurants, walking down the street, at the dentist's office, the library...

I have to admit that one has always puzzled me. Surely a bikini and underwear are essentially the same thing?

Not everyone goes to the beach to swim though. In fact, I'd say more people go there to sunbathe than swim, so is it really that different from a park?

Yeah ok but at the beach everyone is on the same level, it is expected for you to wear swimwear. A park is just any public place though, many people go there to play sport or sit or have lunch. Especially in a city centre there are business and work people there on their lunch breaks in suits! it is just not the same as a beach or a swimming pool.

But what did I expect from the replies from the guys here

Women what do you think?

I think if you want the attention, then do it. If not, do it somewhere more private.

Unfortunately I've never seen a women in a bikini at any park. I shall study this phenomenon further and get back to this thread with the results. :D

seriously, you should come here in the summer - they're eveyrwhere

the trouble is - they ALL don't look as good in said bikini

I propose an ordinance in which only women of sufficient attractiveness are allowed to wear them

I am more than willing to be the arbiter of good taste

No problem here :]

print this - keep it until you turn 45

then take it out and read it for a laugh, ok?

Why does my age have anything to do with how I view things? Yeah, I'm sure when I'm "45" I'll find older women more attractive than how I do now... But that doesn't take away my right to find "younger" women more attractive when I am young myself? Like when I was 12, I liked girls around that age A LOT... now I don't even find 15/16 year olds attractive. To be honest, right now the only women I find attractive (for the most part) are between the age of 20-47. I'm sure that'll change though
