When do you have lunch?

When unemployed, stuck by myself, it doesn't matter. All I think about is try not to eat comfort food and get fat.

In the abhorrent workplace, I hate abiding by everyone else's preferences at all. I hate crowds and peak times. I always made everything so good for me, by sticking to my own rules. A strong rule for me for life, from teenage times, until death, is: just do whatever everyone else doesn't to... artistic approach.

I like to keep most of the day done before taking a break. Can't understand why people want lunch at 1200. Once they've gone and done that, I have time by myself, and then will have that again, once they get back!

I love to find a park, a lake, with open space (city) from 1300 to 1400 or, hopefully, later. I hate business parks - all of us stuck together, "eating at your desk"

Dismal!

What do you do?

Hi, I seem to avoid restaurants or fast food chains when they are at their busiest.
Tend to get a take away & sit on the beach or in a quiet park to eat where i am on my own with no1 else around.
Also avoid buses & tend to walk everywhere, the quietest route!

I eat 'heavier' meals earlier in the day for metabolic reasons, but I really do not eat that much. When at work or school... I never eat lunch. I basically eat once a day, though I'm making a concerted effort to start eating breakfast.

Lately I haven't been having a "real" lunch at all. I just nibble on healthy snacks throughout the day. As long as I eat enough of them, and then have a more substantial "snack meal" for dinner, I'm good.

I eat whenever I'm hungry, except when I have a job that requires that everyone eat at the same time... In these kind of situations I barely eat at all
Remark - Here in north america (and maybe most northern cultures, I'm not sure) this is the norm to eat (or not) breakfast in the morning, lunch at noon and dinner around 6pm, So that's what people do, but there is other cultures with other patterns, like eating a small breakfast around 10am, big meal around 3pm, and a small meal around 7 or 8pm, which to me make more sense......

I'm with ya on late lunches. I usually have a bigger breakfast and then a small lunch/dinner at around 4:00

At work, I eat whenever I get the chance. Which is mostly around 2 in the afternoon (since by then everybody has had their break/lunch, so I can have the lunchroom to myself). I work at a high/intense pace for which I NEED the energy/hydration. :B

When I'm at home, I'm pretty much a loose cannon food-wise. Heck, there were plenty of times where I had a pizza at 1 in the morning as ''dinner''.

Usually quite late, which I hate but have no choice beacuse my office is so bloody busy, and my colleague and I have to take turns to have lunch. It is also very boring and lonely eating alone.

I eat when I'm hungry. I work midnights so I usually just munch on things throughout the night but I rarely eat a full meal for lunch. However, I do eat more when I go on long runs and need energy to get me through a workday.

I eat at my desk, and have a short lunch, so I can leave earlier. Sometimes I come home and let my pet cockatiel sit on my shoulder after I have eaten. I enjoy her company more than most people.

I used to eat in a park where few people visited.

At morning teas and lunches for meetings and workshops, I escape the gatherings and small talk and eat outside in peace.

i eat whenver i want, because im always eating alone most of the time.
sometimes i eat with a colleague, but she doesnt work much..

i eat between 12:30 -3pm.. latest..
