I havent ventured out to many events lately, but some of the things that make me anxious the most are..

Walking when its wet and windy people watching me

big supermarkets and retail places, I always make myself look suspicious and awkward

Weddings. I was the maid of honor at my sister's wedding last year and it was really rough. Thankfully I got through it without tripping or fainting, but I was shaking so badly when I was up in front of everyone. It was my job to keep up with her wedding band and give it to the preacher at the right time, and I was so afraid I was going to drop it. It was just really stressful trying to keep my focus while feeling so conscious of everyone's eyes on me. Hopefully they were paying more attention to the bride and groom and didn't really notice me, at least I hope, because I know I looked like an idiot up there. lol Looking back I am glad I was able to do it because she is the only sister or sibling I have.

Funerals are really hard too. On top of being emotional and upset, you have all these people, even strangers, coming up to you.

a few situations i can't stand are >>>sitting in large groups, anything to do with public speaking or expressing an opinion, being around men... especially someone i find attractive, being in a position which people will openly socialise with me, being around fun outgoing people my age.

I don't like to be in a place where I can't like get up and leave. Example...having to get my haircut...going to a restaurant and eating with others or even going to my sisters house and eating with her family...I don't have a problem with people watching me eat but if I started to have an attack I couldn't just get up and leave without someone thinking "what the heck" or "she's weird!"

I used to have a problem talking on the phone but somehow I guess got over it as I can now call anyone...but feel more comfortable talking to people I don't know than to someone I do (example ordering a pizza vs talking to some I like)

My big thing is going far from my house...I don't like driving far if I know I can't walk home! just incase the car breaks down or something. Don't know where I got that from as I have never really been stranded someplace.

I have a big obstacle coming on the 30th as I am moving from Florida to NY state...so that is going to be one long & interesting car ride for me!

Hmmm...I would say eating in public the most. Since I'm 9 months preggo right now, I kind of had to get over it lmao, but usually I really don't like eating in public. I always wipe at my face and readjust my hair and stuff out of nervousness, makes it worse when people ask me if "something is wrong".

Being such a closet SA case though, I've kind of found ways around eating in public with people I'm not comfortable with. Also, being out of the dating scene has helped a lot too!

I also HATE phone calls. They make me so self conscious, hubby hates it because I always try to make him do my phone related stuff instead, lol.

Anywhere outside of my household.
But especially? Lets see here:

-Academic Settings. Esp. Class Discussions. *eep*
-Parties/Social Gatherings with mostly strangers.
-Family Gatherings. They're family, but I can't relax.

For some reason, I find things like large crowds and public speaking less scary than other social situations. It's not that they're not scary at all, but it's much more manageable anxiety.

These are the worst situations for me:

1. Approaching strangers, or passing them on the street
2. Meeting New People
3. Social Events/Parties
4. Eating/Drinking/Writing or otherwise using my hands in public places or in front of other people
5. Work phone calls
6. Getting my haircut
7. Shopping, unpacking groceries in front of other people
8. Talking to cashiers/shop assistants/wait staff
9. Walking past motorists, whether they are stopped at the lights or driving past
10. Any social situation where something unexpected happens

I'd have to say this bugs me to!! I can only imagine when I get back to NY and spend Thanksgiving/Christmas with my family and people I haven't seen in 10yrs who are married and have careers etc...*sigh* great...

* People I knew from the past bumping into me and trying to ask personal questions about how my life is going

* Being in busy areas with lots of people or just large crowds

* Having to perform a task where I got several people watching me, much harder if they have their full attention on me

* People I knew from the past bumping into me and trying to ask personal questions about how my life is going

* Being around attractive women

* Someone Im with causing a scene in public

I tend to avoid a lot of the things that make me anxious these days. Like hairdressers, dentist etc, anywhere I feel trapped. I get really anxious if I have to eat at pubs / restaurants, and can't eat. I rarely get asked to go out to eat any more.

I hate shopping, especially if it is a prolonged thing like the supermarket. I like to be in and out as quickly as possible. Shops like Argos where you pay for your item and have to wait for them to bring it up are probably my most hated shopping experience.

The telephone. I avoid it like the plague. I get a feeling of terror when I hear it ring, and
avoid ever having to answer it. At work it is really awkward, but I only have to answer it if i am the only one in. Then it's the walk in customers who scare me to death.

I think that's enough to be going on with.

Being in a group of drop dead gorgeous ladies... That would cause me to probably black out... and the word "TILT" written across my eyes... :D

Making and answering phonecalls, someone stopping me and asking for directions, going to the hairdressers, walking out of a shop - incase the alarm goes off. Paying for stuff in the shop. Talking to strangers or been around people I don't know. Being asked if I want cashback at the supermarket when paying by card. Going into an empty shop or going into a really busy shop. Going to the cash machine. Asking for a ticket on the bus. Opening the door to the postman or gas man etc. Job interviews. Being asked if I need any help in a shop. Being asked whats my favourite music or hobbies. Going to events like parties. Going to the doctor. Typing in front of people. When at the traffic lights. Answering questions even when I know the answer, reading out loud. Writing in front of people, going into a shop without getting basket incase people think I'm going to steal. When picking small items up in a shop (ie, make up) incase they slip out of my hand and fall into my bag by accident. Being stared at.
