What does SPW mean to you?

For me this is the only place that I can really be myself, and my outlet to find out more about myself/conflict resolution. Because I will start to create a thread to ask a question about relationships/life/ideas, and by the time that I am finished I will have answered my own question. Not to mention the great people that I have met on here

Just curious what this website means to others

Voted for the 1ste one(helped me), because I always thought I was the only one with this. Reading and answering on similar people really feels good.

It shows me that I'm not the only one with such problems. And I think that this is also a good platform to share our skills/ideas that are non-SA related... as it seems that everyone here has some interesting viewpoints or some unique skill set.

There is another community called GameMaker (that makes games... lol)... where people sometimes team up to work on large projects because each person is a specialist in a certain field (graphics, music, programming... etc)... I always thought that SPW is bursting with talent that's mostly untapped. Haha.. nvm.. rambling now.

It's because there is also a hyperhidrosis forum here.

SPW is my favourite website and I think it's helped me a lot in knowing I'm not the only one with these problems!

I'm aware it won't cure anything, but the fact I can vent and be with others who understand helps. And i've made some friends here, which means a lot too.

Made some friends I guess, but most of them are gone now :T Talked and realize a bunch of crap about life and anxiety, I guess you can say I'm a bit tired of anxiety. I feel like I'm a road to recover!

And made my life worser cause I got sucked into the virtual world and all that is weird and odd. Made mistakes and had to paid them with my sanity, but I blame it all on myself, its my fault Anyway I don't feel like this is my place anymore, probably just gonna start coming less and less :\

Not so much with the whole getting better thing as much as allowing me to interact with like-minded individuals. I don't feel as judged by the people on this site as when I'm with my real life friends whom I've known for years.

Only place I've ever been able to be myself. I'm still using it to reflect and discover who I am. I would never have agreed to see a therapist if not for this website, and would still be hating my own guts for being so shy and different. Also, I've met some amazing people! Genuine help. Good thread
