Hey. So, there's this person at my university who frequently peeks over at me and smiles. Often, she blushes when she looks at me. Does this nessacarilly mean that she is interested in getting to know me? I'm honestly not entirely sure .

Go to her and and try to talk to her, say something. You will know by her reaction if she really was interested in knowing you.

No, trust me, I learned the hard way. Those so called signals are not true...totally thought this guy liked me, based on this... and now we dont even talk

It doesn't necessarily mean that she's interested, but it's a pretty good sign. Give her a smile in return and see what happens. Good luck!

Yeah, go up to her, initiate a conversation. She may not be interested, but those are some pretty good signs that she could be.
