MSN, or any other social networking sites or chat rooms, which one would you prefer when talking to new people??

I like face to face, I found MSN/internet to be very distant in a way, and kind of boring, I would rather go through the silent/boring parts, talking face to face is so much more...interesting..

srry if this was a repeated post

With my issues, face to face is just too stressful, so it's in no way enjoyable. MSN gives me time to think things through properly before I type them so I don't look like some rambling idiot (most of the time). Though I do hate social networking sites because most of the people annoy me, yet if I don't friend them all I then feel inadequate because my friend list is so small.

Preferably, I'd like a transition from MSN to face-to-face. Getting to know the person on MSN first would take away a great deal of anxiety.

MSN cause when it gets silent, I can just post links to things I find funny and then we can discuss that instead of standing around going "ummmm" lol

I prefer msn, because it's so suffocating when it becomes to face to face. Almost every time when I talk to strangers or with people at work, I'll totally have an acute speech impediment. When I'm on msn I'm much more chatty. People on msn often say that I'm very talkative and that I make them like to talk to me for some reason, but if I would meet them in real person, I'll definately ruin it again. I just can't talk to people. SA is holding me back all the time.

When it comes to new people or people I don't know much, I prefer MSN because I find it less intimidating to talk about anything and I tend to speak up more. Also, when I feel anxious talking with people I don't know, I tend to not speak very well and keep my toughts to myself, in fear of sounding stupid. Those people must think I'm shy, unopinionated, ignorant or that I simply don't care what they're talking about. However, even on MSN, there are some people I just can't get comfortable with. It feels, awkward, at best.

People I know well, I prefer face to face.

I like face to face now than I did before, before I made my 2 close friends, I haven't had any in like 8 years.

ya, I don't want to live the rest of my life in my house all cooped up, and having the fear of talking to people.

I have my big dreams of being the CEO of some oil and gas company (petroleum engineering degree \m/ :) )

And

Going out and travel, go sky diving, some thing thrilling, even if I will never get a gf (some ppl may found it sad to never get a gf), but its ok, from my point. I guess

I would SO go with you! I've always wanted to try skydiving. I know I'll be trembling and shaky at first but I also know that once I'm out of that plane, it'll be...freeing? lol.

I've also never been on a real roller coaster, and I want to do that sometime before I die. I've been on small ones with a few mildly-thrilling dips but I've never been on ones that you might see at 6 flags or Disney World. But yeah...it's gotta happen before I die. If they have to strap my deathbed to the hood of that coaster, then dammit, that's what's going to happen!

I also want to go to Nicaragua or some other place that has those cords strapped high in the jungle trees, and then they harness you to the chord and you slide down it like Tarzan.

As weird as it sounds i prefer face to face despite the awkwardness. It's just so cold chatting by typing words on a screen, it just feels like talking to the computer.
