Most ghost/murder dramas. I accidentally watched a recording of Woman in Black (1980s version) which pretty much robbed me of any calm whenever it got dark. It took me about 16 years to finally read the novel. Perhaps I was a bit too young for it, but the trauma was a small price to pay for my now love for ghost stories and horrors.

And it's actually what I was thinking about mentioning as soon as I read the title of this thread.heh
The show itself didn't scare me all that much.
But the intro freaked me out for some reason.
Specifically the little leprechaun looking doll thing in the attic.

I would always ask my bother to tell me when it was past "him" ::p:

I was terrified of riding in elevators.(I still kinda am!)
If there were a bunch of people riding in one with me.
I would look at the weight limit sign and start trying to guess what everybody weighed and add it up.
Make a horrible miscalculation and freak out.

at first the idea is awful to me too.. but after watching it, i liked that they showed its possible to fix it and he lived happily ever after and like the cracked article mentioned 'pooped rainbows' etc. i think its absolutely wrong that its a childrens book.. but a child reading that when about 10 years old may be helpful for someone who has gone through that.. so maybe the book is not totally evil..

How about the kids book about Hiroshima? The one mention on the cracked article? I havent even read it but there was that disturbing cartoon about the bombing. Eeekkkk! 0_o oh god why did America do that?

Totally agree with that Unresolved Mysteries program. They once had something creepy with a man with a high pitched voice and it creeped me out for days.

Also, Rescue 911 was horrifying as a kid. Why did they broadcast this stuff at daytime?

omg i loooooved unsolved mysteries,it never freaked me out,i always enjoyed those type of things,ghost stories,ufo sightings,i still do actually.

The R.L. Stine Goosebumps episodes with the masks scared me quite a bit. The idea of putting a mask on and not being able to take it off freaked me out soooo much.

A weird book I read as a kid that described some bullies taking a few kids from school and tormenting them by doing stuff such as rubbing poison oak over their legs.

This was a children's book. Dafuq.

pet cemetery,isnt there a scene were a women starves herself with the song as a theme I think,I was very afraid of that scene and that song for years,It with the clowns,afraid of aliens,afraid of the tree's shadows outside my room

1. My dad liked to scare me with this tiger toy I had. It would walk, it's eyes would light up red, and it would growl. My parents have recently been using it on my half sister's children. Oh god, why does it still work?

2.My dad would make me watch old black and white horror films. They're not much to scare me now, but back then, they weren't so fun.

3. When I was over my uncle's, like I usually was, since he babysat me, he had this stuffed animal dog. It was supposed to say something, but never had it worked since the day he got it.I tried it several times, myself. I went in his room once, picked it up (didn't even squeeze it) and it said "I love you." It freaked me out so bad. Ran out and told my uncle and he said something like "What are you talking about? That thing doesn't work." I don't think I ever went back in his room.

4. Other stuff like the previous mentioned things. Meaning, unexplained/paranormal.
