The sensetive ones

Hello.

Why do people always pick on the sensetive people?

I think the timid one's are the most beautiful.

I find them interesting, and more caring and more wise.

And their sensetivity makes them beautiful.

I don't get those bullies, are they on crack?

They either get a kick out of it, enjoy showing off their domineering personality on the weak and putting down sensitive people. Sadly, they don't realise or care for the damage "small" words might have on that person.

I wish my mouth would open so I could let that person know what I think of him but sadly, it stays muted.

I think its because there are people out there who believe it's their duty to weed-out the "weaker" members of society. As chilling as it is to ponder, this behavior is encouraged at home and even by entire "communities" that discuss these policies away from the eyes and ears of the general public; presumably to protect the innocent. They don't seem understand that for any ecosystem to function properly, you need diversity to fill in all those niches. No one "being" can possible manage all the variables of nature to arrive at, what THEY regard as, "perfection."

Because we are taught that being bold and being in control of our lives and our environment is what we are supposed to do - it is favoured and is a societal expectation, if we don't live up this expectation we are seen upon as weak.
An internal locus of control is expected rather than an outside one - and is often perceived as a 'victim mentality' - which is incorrect.

Being sensitive and tender hearted gives way to vulnerability - one of the biggest hypocrisy's I find from people is virtuous behaviour that people say they want (kindness, patience, tolerance etc) - but actually respect and admire the complete opposite. When we are children we get taught to share and uphold other kinds of behaviour to complement others - yet for some reason, when we are adults - it all seems to be negated - generally speaking.

according to this article: Red brain, blue brain: Republicans and Democrats process risk differently, research finds

A team of political scientists and neuroscientists has shown that liberals and conservatives use different parts of the brain when they make risky decisions, and these regions can be used to predict which political party a person prefers. The new study suggests that while genetics or parental influence may play a significant role, being a Republican or Democrat changes how the brain functions....

Republicans more strongly activate their right amygdala, associated with orienting attention to external cues. Democrats have higher activity in their left posterior insula, associated with perceptions of internal physiological states.

I don´t think that´s true, quite on the contrary. People who are good with showing emotions are usually the most favorite ones (Princess Diana for example).

Sensitive people often get walked over, if they don´t defend themselves properly, because everyone naturally tries to take advantage of the other, and the weaker the prey, the better.

Sometimes also people mistake niceness for being fake, which maybe is my example.

Simply, because they can. Their sensitive nature makes them easy targets. That's just the way of the world. c:

There is a lot of misery in this world and a lot of people who do not show it feel like crap deep down. So they pick on those they perceive as weaker or in some cases just those they can get away with picking on. It some how makes them feel better about themselve, and distracts them form how they feel about themselves.

I think it's because they see the sensitives person are easy target.
So the so called dominant extroverted person will pick an easy target because
she will not defend herself.

because they are A grade idiots. let's be frank here. who in their right minds would think it's a normal thing to really pick on someone? there is a big difference between tongue in cheek "light hearted" sarcasm/fun and obvious taunting & uncomfortable bullying.

i've had it happen a few times and i handled it ok, but the last time it happened i left the job, just because i couldnt be bothered, and if it happens again i will leave again. i would rather choose to work in a proper/normal environment then put up with unnecessary crap like that each day. you'd be better off being poor and looking for new work then to just put up with a shoddy working environment.

same goes for safety. if you end up working on what you feel is an unsafe work site, because of the way supervisors are describing things, then just leave. walk out. you know if something is up, you can sense it.
