I'm not sure what to say here.. I found this site by accident and I am SO glad I did.. Dealing with social phobias and such on your own is very hard, even more so when nobody else understands it around you. I am 22 years old, a dual national of the US and Ireland.. I have some sort of undiagnosed mute like issues and no answers. I managed to join the military with my social issues and got through initial training without anyone even knowing I was alive and I'm still in, but liable to be discharged soon.. I got a trip to the Behavioural Health Clinic from the Army.. By Army I mean reserve, I couldn't handle full time military stuff. I play the guitar, but find myself unable to sing.. I mean I can't make a sound.. I wear sunglasses all the time, eye contact makes me uncomfortable to the nth degree. Anything else, just ask. And thanks again for accepting my registration on this site.. :)

Write to is more accurate, in person, you would find I would be unable to speak, nor look you in the eyes without my sunglasses.. But, the thought is what counts.. Glad to be here.. ::eek::

Technicalities and semantics::p:! If it makes you feel any better though, I wouldn't be able to look at you or talk to you (or anyone really::eek::) in real life. Hope you enjoy it here!

When I was staying in a dorm at university, I had an elaborate soundboard set up to talk to my roommate.. He found it rather annoying.. But yes, writing is by far easier.. If it didn't make me stand out more than having my sunglasses on inside buildings (Even banks..lol) I would rather write everything down.. But I guess sitting in absolute silence isn't so bad.. Just dealing with people is..

Hello! I've just joined this site as well, sort of stumbled upon it myself. What kind of music do you enjoy? My guitar chops are pretty rusty but I've been noodling around in Reason with limited success recently lol. I feel weird welcoming someone to a site that I just discovered, but everyone on here seems pretty congenial...

Sweet! Ya i've been working on my scales trying to get my chops up. I think I'm much better at piano. But it's one of those things were I'm like "if I just spent 15 minutes a day...", but I never do.

Hardcore punk like leftover crack, choking victim, H20, dead kennedys, effed up (censored for forums lol)?

any Ska? lol

I like some punk stuff too, although I haven't listened for some time.
