Rant: I just CAN'T live with roommates anymore

It's driving me nuts. I need privacy at home.

I can't stand it that I can't just go to the kitchen and make food for myself without having to meet someone I don't particularly like or care for. I need to work a lot at home, it's the only place I can concentrate.

I hate that I isolate myself like this but I feel so f^cking bummed out by constantly having to see roommates. I can't handle it. It makes me hate myself.

Small amount of space but it's all yours.

oh i definitely understand how you feel! My aversion to living with others runs so deeply, it was part of the reason my marriage failed. I absolutely loath living with another person/people.

I've found more peace and happiness from living alone w/my dog than I've ever had in my whole life thus far.

Good luck...i hope you're able to get a place of your own it really is wonderful for some people.

I hate it too! Right now living at my uncle's, and when I move my mother wants me to get roommates...I dread it. I prefer to be alone/with one other person who I'm comfortable with completely.

Maybe it will go well though you never know. I think if you have social anxiety it is probably a good idea to live with a roomate to push yourself even if it's difficult.

I would love to live on my own but if I ever move out, it'll be financially easier with a roommate.
