do your tubes have schrader valves or presta valves?

if they're presta valves, you have to be sure to close them after filling, whereas the schrader valves close themselves

schrader valves often get a small bit of dust or grit in them that will keep them from closing properly

and even if everything is right - air still leaks a little - it's normal

the technical explanation is: air molecules are tiny

you should always check tires and pump 'em up a little bit every time you ride
