Question & Answer

Ok I have a question - how do you put pictures on posts?? I thought I knew how to do it, but the last few times its just come up with the little aplet symbol, or whatever its called. Do you have to save the image on your computer first? Can you just post it straight from a link?

Just put it on Photobucket, or if its a picture you've found online, copy the link, click "Insert Image" Which should be about.......^ above that arrow, paste the link and it'll be there

copy the url of the image

then paste it into the body of your post in between the insert image code, which is

like: http://www.boogerpicture/hairybooger.png[/img)

only the last character should be a close bracket rather than a end parentheses

or you can poke the little [img]http://www.socialphobiaworld.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif button
and paste the url in there

What psi should my mountain bike tyres be? Maybe the person with 167 bikes and the cool netsuke may know?

it's a matter of preference

the max psi is marked on the tires

if you want a softer, squishier, comfier, but slower ride, use less air

if you want a harder, twitchier, bumpier, but faster ride, use more air

and like all things commercial - the max psi on the tire is a conservative figure designed to satisfy the tire company's attorneys should they be sued by someone who hurt themselves in a blowout

^Contact her, the worst that can happen is she's a bit surprised. The best, you get to know your roommate before she becomes your roommate.

My question, why do people feel the need to deceive others?

There are so many reasons to lie in this world they are hard to count. Most of them fall into a few general catagories though.

Like Coyote said, people try to make themselves look better. For their ego or to make them feel better about themselves.

Personal gain. Either monetarily or personally, you can gain a lot for yourself by lying. You can manipulate others to get power, money, sex, lots of things. This is basically how Americas Politics are run nowadays.

Cruelty. Plain and simple some people manipulate others because they find it funny. They like to lie and backstab and cause problems everywhere they go. It's kind of like guys who like to fight, just to fight. They enjoy the power they feel when they hurt some one. ::(:

^I tried to play both electric and acoustic guitar. You need a lot of patience depending on your "natural hability".

I have no patience at all for this kind of things >.<

Thanks, both of you. I had tried vinegar before without luck :[
Yes, hot water a good idea - after posting the question I thought of boiling it, which I did for a long time and it worked. Yay, strong coffee again!

What shall I do with my computer when I get my new laptop?

(I'm saying it so I'll be in the mood to order the laptop)
^ Format the drives, clean it out, and save some of the parts (If they're any good)? That's just what I would do, just in case I got a new desktop again.

Because there is no point in turning yourself scarier in future?

Every film adds up fears to your fears.. bloody imagination as to speak.. (besides they are not a piece of art)

Turn yourself scarier? I'll take it you mean scared. They don't leave a long lasting impression on me any more, I'm more scared of real things.

They don't add to my fears, I'd be scared if an axe wielding murderer ran up to me without horror films, it just makes me think what I'd do, so it's good for you.

And the last bit is your opinion, may I ask how many horror films you've seen? Because anything can be art, in my opinion, and many horrors are.
