I'm a bit new to this forum and so a tad nervous to post here. I also hope its in the right place but I have a question.
Has anyone ever blacked out momentarily during an event that they are worried about?
To give an example I will give a personal experience.
Back in 2005 when I had to go up in stage in front of hundreds of people to collect a certificate for art, I walked up the stairs to the stage. The next thing I remember was taking a seat beside my mother with the certificate in my hand. I was utterly confused as the last I remembered was walking up those stairs. I asked my mother what happened and she explained the events. Apparently I walked upon the stage, over to the man who gave me my award and then to the second male who shook my hand and congratulated me. Apparently I then sorted my hair out nicer and posed for a picture with him. The photo was taken and I stepped down the steps and back to my mum, taking a seat which was when my memory returned.
I wondered if this or something similar has ever happened to other people who are terrified of a public event. I tried to search it up but was unsure how to explain or write what happened. Most of them were trying to state about alcohol causing the memory loss. But I have never drunk alcohol in my life.
Sorry about the length ^^;
