Me and my couch/bed are best friends these days. Depression introduced us and we've spent a lot of time together since.

Yeah. I gained weight because of it too :/
now I'm even more depressed than usual. Urgh. I'm trying to diet the excess fat off though

Yeah I've gained a bit of weight also and I don't have the motivation to diet it off coz I'm starting to think what's the point of even trying to look good with social anxiety :(

Same here. I didn't want to deprive myself of all the homemade food made during Christmas and now I'm kind of regretting it. I really hate this cold weather too. I can't go for a run on the bike trail which has made me really sluggish this past month. I haven't been taking care of myself and now I'm sick because of it. I don't care if I lose or maintain my weight, I just want to feel healthy again.

I can't function at night unless I have my bed, my laptop, and snacks. If one of those is missing, I can't deal.

It's seems we use food to fill the void in our lives another bi product of s.a :(

I find the opposite, gives me lots of free time to exercise :)
Allthough havnt been able to for last 2 weeks and still cant for anther 2-3 so I'll agree with you on the couch bit :p

Well right now, if you live in the United States anywhere that isn't warm, it's kind of hard to get off the couch. I don't want to go outside for long periods of time cuz it's cold here. Normally I'd take a walk or run, but this time of season makes it tough.

There is nothing wrong with eating lots of food. I practically worship food. Eating is an event to me. It's probably cuz i have no friends, so I have found other things for something to look forward to. I also enjoy sleeping for the most part. I don't like to read, and can't find any other hobbies that i enjoy besides video games and watching movies and sports on television.

if you live with family then its even more enticing to walk up to the pantry and grab the chocolate and some chips or a piece of toast with peanut butter ..

i am not overweight because of my metabolism however i comfort eat every day and i have done that for years and years. I also eat healthy as well but i think i eat too much bread and sugary foods.

when i moved out for a few years i used to eat alot healthier and i hardly ate much at all. so for me its simply the fact of food being in front of me that becomes a vice. If i am feeling under pressure or stressed then i have to do something and instead of smoking or drinking i either play nintendo, draw, play basketball or i feel the need to eat.

i think its normal to spend alot of time on the couch or to lay on the bed because what else can you do unless you are exercising or walking somewhere?

i am lucky in that i am a fan of older NBA basketball so i try and practice every day.

I form a very unhealthy lifestyle when on holidays! I've just woke up and it's 1pm and I am now destined to lounge around in my bed till 5 o clock on the laptop - not eating properly or drinking water. Been doing that for a week, I hate it! Wish I could wake up at like 8am and do something with my day but I just never have any energy and need more sleep than anyone else.

I wake up at 11am every day, lounge in bed til 1pm, make bacon&eggs, go to the gym, shower, and from that point on, I'm back on the bed with snacks.

I'm in bed for more than 11 hours a day. I'd say about 18-20 hours.

Oh, I meant waking hours, I should have wrote that. So you spend 4-6 hours out of bed every day? Are u lying down the whole time? Cuz my bed is a futon that I can turn into a sofa, so technically you could say I'm on my bed when I sit there and watch tv.

I don't even think I spend 4 hours out of bed every day. I don't work. I get up to eat and go to the gym, that's it. I'm laying on my side right now.
