Yes, I would like to know your personal opinion on how one can make the most out of social phobia. Even if you do manage to make the most of it, your life would probably be better without it.
Social anxiety can be compared to a physical injury. A man who is paralyzed from below the neck can make the most out of this by watching cartoons, but his life would still be much better if he could move again.
i'm going to have to this in small doses or else i prob will be hated for certain things i say if i do it all at once,,and that is not what i am trying for..actually it's just trying to help and have people become more aware of things that i may actually already lived through and survived....and good with it now,
so lets touch on this quote first because this is the first that came to mind..sure a paralyzed person could (and some may) ,just sit and watch cartoons and 'wish' they could walk..some may even do just that..for a while ..and then there are the survivors that say they may be paralyzed,BUT they are still alive and will make the most of whatever hand they were dealt in life..i have known ones that did it.some became artist, some took up sports even in wheelchairs..though they could have just sat and watched cartoons if they had wanted to.i guess they chose.only they had the power to do that.
we may not like to understand the fact that we are not entitled to a picture perfect life ,as in the beautiful spouse, perfect high paying job,all the money we can spend, the sports car we so think we deserve, and being the most popular person in the room,,etc etc...BUT once people learn to accept the FACT that they are NOT entitled to any of that and learn to live with it and work on what will improve them as a human being, they may have another take on it(if they actually want to see it)
problem is more often then not,we as humans see what we want to see and hear what we want to hear..there in is part of the problem..
i have seen some that only want to complain about problems and want someone else to fix it for them..ok??? ask yourself..how fun can it be to be around people that only complain???not too fun really...i mean we all complain about something, thats fine..BUT if it becomes a constant 'whoa is me'..no one wants to hear that..it gets old...
at what point do we see ,we get what we put out there and if your only going to put negativity out there..well????? i think i don't have to finish that sentence.
thats why in another post i mentioned about finding something that your passionate about,,no i don't mean wanting the "perfect' life or wife or husband or whatever..i mean a passion that makes you interesting to other people when you speak about it,,something that comes from deep inside you.
and whatever you do..DO NOT look as though you are trying to fit in or be cool or fish for compliments or sympathy,,,..
ok ok..enough for now...or else i'll be banished from the village before i move in..
oh BTW..how does one add a signature quote to their profile as i see some of you have.
