I know why I'm a failure

I don't even know what to reply to that, it won't make any difference anyways since everyone seems to judge people for it anyways.

Perhaps no reply is required, everyone must make their own decision based on the many health warnings about smoking

If you watch the movie 'in the Mouth of Madness'

There's a subtle cue about Sam Neill's character, smoking all the time, getting through difficult situations, and feeling on top of the world, an executive...

I never want to smoke. I won't

There is an important signal here. Ignore the health factor.

I have seen that all the successful people... eg. people I went to school with who run their own companies... My elder family who lived through the second World War

But life's answer is right in front of me. A simple vice..? It makes you feel better. It's a good reminder. Luck ;)

Those who get rich... they don't deserve it. (Rupert Murdoch..?) Alan Sugar?
Have an army of personnel, and tell them what to do

Confidence to direct your minions.

Why did I not get that status? Cos I ain't a baccy-based person

My grandmother is 87 and still going. She smoked like a chimney. My granddad died year ago and he was younger than her. I think genetics must play a part.

Yes, almost the same thing in my family. My grandfather died some 10 years before I was born. I am 23... He smoked like a demon and was a drunk...(that's what people tell me about him)

I worry about my coffee input, which was always about staying alert, during lectures. I have a lot now - strength 5. Because I think it's the cheapest drink, when I'm homebound.

Dad is 86 and I don't know anyone your grandma's age. Mum died of an embolism in her tummy. ALL my uncles, aunties, many dead, and everyone loves their tobacco. I still see that magic factor in life, which I seem to lack. nicotine

Benzos look good on wikipedia

If you have a lot of people in your family that loves tobacco(as i have) maybe one day you will start to like...
In the past, tobacco was the worst thing that I could imagine myself "doing"... Now i love the taste of it... seriously... i like the taste... hahaha
Tobacco is evil, man. I can't stop...
If I stop I will destroy my studies... because i tried some time ago and i spent almost one month trying to avoid(and i was thinking it all the time).
So... if you start, you will start to like it.
Some time pass by... and then... bumm... you want to stop, but to stop you will need to crush your life in work/school and stuff like that.

Ever person in the world that smokes say this: do not begin... cause, if you do it... you will be one of us. uhahuahuahua

But if you really want, man... what can I say ? Welcome to the dark side of the lung.

Just to clarify one thing:

Why I started to smoke ? I don't know the why, but i can answer with a when.
I lost a loved one. And the girl that I loved was just saying: dude... goodbye

Everyone here is so tragic, so... I am trying to be just like you guys...

Smoking is a serious addiction. That's why I smoke. I don't think anyone really enjoys it.

I have never smoked in my life.. I did get contact high because someone was smoking pot very close to me.. I had no idea what it was. My oldest brother smokes quite often and I don't like being around him as that stuff really makes a foul odor come out every pore.. My mother thought a tan shirt was mine (even though I wear medium and it was an XL) I could tell by it's smell that it was not mine.. My shirts smell like teen spirit (Yeah, a girl's deodorant is my favourite and was free) He spends tons of cash on his habit as well and he has issues with breathing and blood pressure.. A doctor told him he needed to stop as it is killing him, but he just won't do it. Too many REALLY bad things for me to even consider that habit..
