I feel so alone

yes, I've also felt this way many, many times. And turns out, there are millions of people who feel just the same way, so you are never alone. :) But honestly, I can imagine how lonely it is when you feel that you're alone. God knows how long it's been, it feels like forever. ::(: But since I'm still on medication, I'm improving just a bit each time and I don't even have a bf. lol I can't imagine what it's like if I do... maybe I'll feel 10x better? Who knows.

When was the last time you talked to your bf about how you feel? How often do you express to him your concerns? It doesn't sound like he listens very well. Perhaps you could talk to a close friend or neighbor who can be more understanding. Maybe your parents?

As she1slander has started pointing out, maybe you could have a chat to your boyfriend about how you feel. Obviously your loneliness is really affecting you and if it's come to the point where you no longer want to live, there's no harm in discussing it with him. He might actually turn out to be very helpful about it and he'll want to help you.

Good luck. :)

Hi. I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I often wonder whether having a girlfriend would help me or not, by your post it obviously does not help much to have a other half.

Pardon me asking but how did you meet your boyfriend if your sa is so bad?

I feel very much alone, too, except I don't live with anyone or have a boyfriend or even have people I can go out with on weekends. This tore me up inside for quite a while, but recently I've been starting to feel more content with myself. I'm positive that being on Prozac since November is helping me feel that way, though I do still yearn for company. It doesn't tear me up inside anymore, though.

I also know that feeling of being alone even if you are surrounded by people. It makes the loneliness worse because they are there physically but emotionally I am disconnected from them.

If you are so depressed and lonely that you say you don't want to live anymore then that's a good indication to seek further help. Maybe they will recommend meds or other therapy to assist you.

You are certainly not alone in how you feel. Just know that help is out there and that things can improve. Hang in there :)

I have a boyfriend. I feel alone, depressed, nervous.
Being in a relationship doesn´t help me with my issues. I also feel that I don´t want to live, but I don´t think I´ll ever commit suicide. I just don´t want to live because I hate living, I really sincerely do.
Sad post is sad. I'm truly sorry to hear that, Nanita. ::(:

I agree. It makes no difference having people around you. You could be surrounded by people but feel as lonely/even more lonely than you were. This is why when people tell me to simply go out and meet people i feel infuriated.

I cannot stand when people tell me to "just go out and meet people". One does not simply walk out the door and make friends.
