I am depressed because I tried to help an animal and I think I injured it

You had the best intention, if the animal would've stayed on that road, it would've been killed. I mean, the turtle's still alive right? And hopefully the hurt is not that bad, then you don't need to worry.

I agree with everyone you wanted to help, I hope its alright. You did a good thing btw.
And yeah, I've done something similar with an animal, I wanted to help but it got a bit injured. Thanfully it was okay though.

I commend you on trying to help and I am sure you did. Most people wouldn't even take time out of their day to do such things. I too get upset over animals when all I can do is give donations ATM but AT LEAST we are doing something. So you did good! Take comfor in that, & try to be proud of your good deed.

I am very impressed that you go out of your way to help these animals. There should be more people like you! I on the contrary have seen drivers who run over animals out of boredom or for fun . I remove snails from the road sometimes, but haven´t seen any bigger animal yet. We don´t have turtles here btw.

I guess you tried to do your best in this case, that´s all I can say..

Snapping turtles especially go through alot of abuse in the wild and are fine.

The point is that even if you did accidentally hurt it-- you saved it's life and that is a pretty good tradeoff if you ask me.
