I don't know if this video was already posted on the site, but maybe some people missed it. I was in crappy mood and felt like staying home the whole day, but this video touched me, so now i'm getting off my lazy behind and go to school.

She had a cameraperson. So I guess she's not completely alone....

Still, I'd spend time with her.
1) She has two guitars.
2) She has a dictionary right above her desk. Words are sexy.
3) I have a harmonica I don't know how to play.
4) I could use some knitted footwear. My feet are freezing.

:D

Dare? I knit in public...
Is it socially unacceptable and nobody told me?

lol :D

Well, there's the whole craftivism movement that already made knitting socially acceptable in places like USA and elsewhere...
Before that, women usually knitted at home, and this is the case where I live.. And since everything is so cheap in stores, young people here today don't knit/sew anymore.. It's not 'in' to knit here!!

(It was in when my mom was young, and when I was little Grandma knitted us some awesome things... Later on, it was more 'COOL' to just 'buy' knitted/sewn things..)

In the old times, women worked and joked together during long winters...

So yeah, I'd love craftivism to appear in our country too - we're a few years behind US in most things, so maybe it's already on its way...? :) he he...

I want to be alone forever. It's for the best. I even looked for jobs in the Antarctic! Me and people do not go well together and never will.

Aaah I see.
I'm from Canada and though I don't really know anyone who knit in public spaces except my sister and me, I think it's getting pretty "in" because I see more and more people trying to learn it and most of the time when you say you knit people instantely think you're awesome. So I'm sure it's coming your way.
