Happy birthday, Srijita! I don't know anyone else who would have over a page of this thread dedicated to wishing you happy birthday from a bunch of forum users. That shows the kind of unrivalled impact you make to this place. I sincerely hope your birthday is a good one.

19, too - wise way beyond your years.

and happy birthday. i hope your 19th year goes really well.

Thank you everyone. :)

Meh I turned 19 today and I still have no social life.

Happy Birthday, darling! :)

I have a job interview Monday with Walgreens. Does anyone have interview tips for how to answer those tough/stupid questions? Like "Why do you want to work here?" or "What have you been doing since you left your last job almost two years ago?" Seriously, I have the hardest time with those questions. I either answer too honestly or I go mute. I have not found the best way to answer them without sounding crazy or like a jackass.

Don't forget, "where do you see yourself in 5 years?"

Sorry, I don't have the answer for you, as my interview knowledge is really bad (never had a proper interview ever), but hopefully someone else can help you. Good luck with the interview, anyway!

JEEZ Does mother nature have something against me?!

I love how I stay in the house and it looks like California outside, yet I kid
you not and its a strange coincidence that the last 8 TIMES ive planned to actually do something on a particular day its f**king
pouring out. I was planning to ge get a haircut tomorrow and continue my disgusting, bitchass endeavour known as a job hunt but they are calling for heavy showers.

Obviously I can still do those things when its raining, its just the weather has a serious effect on my confidence and mood. When its raining I just feel unconfident, terrible, tired, and extremely irritable.

Oh my god....

Tell him I said hi!

You're more than welcome. How's the birthday going?
Its going okay except for I've an exam in two hours and was pretty busy all day preparing for it.
Happy Birthday, darling! :)

Wow. Sorry the weather is treating you so bad. Yep, that's how it goes, when you actually want to do something the weather or something else starts acting up. I hope you get to do what you're aiming for.

Oh crap, I'm late to the party again! ::eek::

Happy belated birthday to you, Srijita! Hope your 19th year in life will be an amazing one! It's your last year of being a teenager, so enjoy it to the fullest! :)

That's too bad. Hopefully you can enjoy yourself sometime today.

I was teary because of PMT yesterday/reading the news. Relieved today just because I thought somebody was ignoring me but now I see there's been an e-mail in my inbox all this time.

I'm pathetic haha.

I was trying to decipher what PMT meant, but I get it now. Something bad on the news?

You're not pathetic. Ever. I can understand the feeling where it's feeling like someone is ignoring you, and then you want to ask, but then that could anger them more if they are, and the mental cycle continues. At least that was resolved and you're not feeling as bad as you were yesterday. :)

Thankfully, they don't seem to ask that question as much anymore!

Your employer wants to know what you can do for them, so perhaps tell them that you enjoy helping people, are willing to be flexible with your schedule, want to learn new skills, and all that sort of b.s.! ;)

Good luck, Miss SuFlu! :)

The news is always bad lol, PMT just makes me hypersensitive. I even felt slightly tearful at work when speaking to a sweet old lady over the phone who thought we had forgotten to send her an application pack, "I've been checking every day" ::(:

I always worry that I've annoyed/upset people somehow although this time round I was significantly less anxious than normal and it was only yesterday really that I begun to think about it.

On another note - I'm up way too early for a weekend.

Yeah, the news is always dreary. I can't really comment on the PMT stuff but at least the worst is over...I hope.

That's good that you were less anxious than normal, and it hopefully means a nice turning point in that area of thinking is upon you. :)

I hope you enjoy your weekend!
