Ok so to cut a long story short i have just had a fight with some girl.. She dug her nail deep into my eye socket and now its bleeding inside. Do you think i could go blind??

Random thread i know. and i dint get beat up, but the finger in the eye did hurt.

Omg wow...I would say I hope your okay,but that would be kinda stupid seeing as you've had your eye practically gouged.

I don't think you will go blind,but if it doesn't stop bleeding go hospital,and make sure you go to the opticians as she may have scratched your actual eye which can effect your vision.

You should definitely go to the ER, like Lorraine Manca said. That could cause permanent damage.

I can barely answer this because i feel incredibly depressed right now. But you should get it seen to as soon as possible..if there is any doubt in your mind. Eyes are too precious.

As everyone else said, go to the ER. I don't think you will go blind, but it's better to prevent any infections and stuff. And what kind of psychopath would do such a thing? I hope that girl gets what she deserves.

Depending on where the scratch took place. If it was just the sclera or the cornea. I would also see a ophthalmologist, for some antibiotic eye drops to kill any bacteria that may have been on the fingernail of the perpetrator. If blood fills in the area between the cornea and the lens, (aqueous humor) then your vision could be occluded for a while until the blood clears....
