Happy Endings

My girlfriend told me I'm her heart and her heart is the most important thing to her. Even though I'm really sick at the moment that relieved a part of my pain.

Later edit :

Wow I got a custom title. Thank you very much whoever gave it to me. It really made me happy!

That would be dear ol' Remus! And that's the sweetest thing I've heard.

EDIT:

Is his title from "One Love" by Bob Marley, Remus?

Making so many calls to try and find work is improving my telephone anxiety, which used to be very severe.

Now if I could just deal with the panic attacks before interviews. Anyone have any tips? They would be greatly appreciated.

The weather was finally warm enough to drag my bicycle out of hibernation. I like winter and all, but I love my bike more. It was nice to be outside again. Yay!

As of yesterday i will never see my bullying housemate again!

Also, while i was texting my friend telling her how happy i was, a few scumbag guys started insulting me and i handled it really well.
They were walking behind me for 5 minutes making horrible noises and stuff and i told them to **** off, and handled it really calmly - they eventually went away.

Not only that but I'm feeling more confident around the guy i like, who i now think actually does have SA (lack of eye contact {with me, he can look his family in the eye it seems}..., rarely walks around, and refuses to go into shops or eat in public places.) He seems real confident and carefree though so i dunno. Its cool that i can actually kinda talk to him now.

Also got stranded in Galway a few days ago. Got the wrong bus - i was supposed to be travelling from Tipperary to Limerick! Thats 3 hours from where I'm supposed to be! My phone went dead so i had to try and get the guy in the reception of the hostel to charge it for me while i tried sort myself out. I had just enough money for a hostel but would have had to hitch a lift home! My friends dad insisted on goin' on a search and rescue mission to bring me back to their house in Tipperary at 11:30pm. He's going to be anointed a saint!

Also stood at a really busy bar for ages while waiting. Nerve wracking!!

Its been an amazing week!

I've kinda realized that when I'm full of positive energy poeple like me despite the fact of not being able to make eye contact with them....just wanted to share this positive experience ...It actually is possible to be lovely and shy at the same time!

I've recently had a good experience in this case and got accepted in a job interview for a trial period....before your interview you have to stop putting pressure on yourself about trying to be perfect and hiding your shyness just relax and be your shy self because the more you try to hide it the worst it will get I actually wasn't able to make good eye contact in my interview I think I starred at my interviewers ears while he was talking to me and when replying to him I would simply look some place elsewhere then his face and talk.... after all it wasn't that bad and I tried to remain relaxed despite the fact that I knew he could recognize just try to show yourself anxious towards the job and try to show you can handle it....although it really does depend on the job you're applying for I mean if I were to apply as a sales agent I know I would have never been accepted!

My boyfriend stopped by the store yesterday on his way home and bought me Nyquil and a get well soon card, even though all I've got is a cold. And he actually wrote a note in the card instead of just signing it! Aww. :)

Thanks for the advice gazelle, and congratulations on the job trial!

Well not necessarily endings of any sort, but I am awfully tired of seeing such depressing things on here ::(: Wish I could cheer each one of you up individually but I can't.

So, besides the fact that I wish I could see some happier posts this was made just to do so. Even if it's cleaning your room or going out for a walk that made you feel good, say it here. Sometimes it's kinda nice to write down a small accomplishment that made you feel just a tad better. If no one writes in this then, oh well. I tried

Mine: Today was beautiful outside and I spend it with an amazing person.

what a wonderful idea, this thread was really needed on this forum

Well usually people understand if your a shy girl but if your a guy then the world is so rude to you!! But i accept putting a positive outlook does help anyone.

Just curious are you a desi (indian, pakistani)?

I don't exactly agree with you jailed.First of all I'd like to tell you that poeple with social anxiety and low self esteem are mostly perfectionists whom are usually fighting with themselves because of their high expectations that they have from themselves....(and from the point of view of a perfectionist!) I should say that many poeple would prefer being around a shy guy than an aggressive one.Having to much self esteem and being aggressive isn't as nice as many of us might think it is.
No i'm not a desi i'm persian (from Iran).

I'm quite sleepy still but today's been pretty good and decent. Starting my weekend early tomorrow and taking off for a bit with my friends, should be fun
