Doesn't a higher testosterone level correlate to an increase in baldness?

So the less hair you have on your head, the manlier you are.

or is that a myth?

yeah. the testostrone becomes dihydrotestostrone which destroys hair follicles. unless you bring in something like rogaine which reduces dihydratestostrone to revive the hair follicles.

By age 16, I was losing hair at a scary rate. By 17, kids at school would tell me "hey man, did you know you're going bald?"

For a few years after that, I had pretty thin hair on top and usually wore a hat. I was really self conscious about it. The best thing I ever did about it was shave my head. It takes a few minutes in the morning, but looks sharp and bold, not like a guy trying to hide thinning hair. Don't let it eat at your confidence - if it's going in a way you don't want it to, take control again and wear what you have with pride. :)

Of course hair-loss is curable. I believe so anyway.

It's a multi-billion £$€ industry and it's because of this i don't ever see them releasing a cure, for this cosmetic problem which affects millions of men (and some women) around the world. I don't think they release what affect it can have on a person mentally.

Of course they realize it, if they're doing it they don't care, much of the other ways to make big money. They have money they have everything they don't care, until the problem is their own, and then someone replaces them.

I was 18 when I started going bald. I really noticed it at 20 and panicked and started taking Propecia, which really slowed down the loss but it still kept slowly falling out. Kept taking Propecia for 5 years. Then about 6 months ago, saw a photo of the back of my head and realised how bald I actually was. So I gave up at this point, stopped taking propecia and got a number 2 all over. It doesnt bother me anymore.

I read somewhere that 75% of all men go bald in their lifetimes, just some start earlier than others. And also, the kind of person that judges someone for being bald, probably isnt worth being friends with anyway. In a way, it can protect you from people like that.
