eye twitch

Aswell as a pressure feeling in the temples and other sinus areas after alot of stress or anxiety, I can often feel my eyelid flickering by its self every now and then. I dont think its noticable to other people because it must be very small movements and flicker very fast, but I can still feel it. Its not a big problem like the sinus ache, but its there. Just wondering if anyone else gets it.

I just started getting this in my left eye a week or so ago. Every so often my eye or eyelid (haven't caught it in the mirror yet) seems to vibrate a bit. I don't think it's noticeable to anyone else, but it's been annoying the hell out of me, lol.

Does it feel like you can feel your pulse?

I don't think I've ever had this in my eyelid, but on occasion I can feel my pulse on the arch of my foot for some reason... it's a kind of weird and creepy feeling, and I have to get up and move around, or try to shake it until it stops. Feels like my skin is crawling.

Mine doesn't feel like my pulse. It's just a thing where my eye feels like it's vibrating a little bit in it's socket. I looked in the mirror when it was happening earlier and it's not noticeable in my eyelid, so it must be my eye. Oddly enough, today at lunch my dad mentioned the same thing in his left eye. Weird...

Look me in the EYES

God this happens to me all the time. It happens to me like every couple of weeks, usually when I have a headache or something, which I have practically everday. It's just super annoying but it doesn't mean anything. I also have sometimes like where air come out of your eye from like inside, this is like super weird. It might have to do with the pressure too, I don't know.

Comes and goes for me, I think it has something to do with the anxiety and/or the caffeine. When it does happen, can last for weeks and refuses to go away; I can feel the twitch, and my cheek contracting, makes me even more anxious as I feel it's pretty noticeable.

“EYE” get this a couple of times a year. I never thought much about it until “EYE” started getting it weekly. Had a read up online and found out it’s normal for people with stress and anxiety to have this twitch in the eye.

Twitching eyelids are a sign of stress and fatigue in the eyes. Maybe you should rest more instead of staring at the computer screen all day as this can dry out the eye. I also get twitching eyelids very often. But if you wash your eyes with clean water every hour while you use the computer, your eyes will not be as dry.

I don't get the eye twitch, but when I'm EXTREMELY stressed out, i get this weird muscle twitch. When i move it, it feels like its jerking around and it turns to the right and i have to keep straightening it out
It's kinda freaky actually because i worry that its going to twist around or something, lol

yes, when i'm stressed it happens in different areas of my face. the past few days it happens to be between my eyebrows.

Yeah i used to get eye lid twitching alot and even though its annoying it never bothered me until i started getting twitches in other random places like my arms and legs etc. It was pretty weird because if i had a twitch in my leg for example i could see a small area on my leg twitching like if there was something just under a small patch of my skin vibrating. Anyway after this went on for awhile i went to my doctor who thought it was stress/anxiety related but sent me to a neurologist just to be on the safe side. Anyhow after 2 years of going to a neurologist for tests and checkups with my last appointment in about 2 or 3 months i rarly get these twitches any more so yeah i think its pretty much from anxiety and stress.

Yeah I get that sometimes, especially when I'm tired or have been using the computer too long! I've heard a few people mention having it too, so I think it's pretty common.

I had a serious eye twitch just before my breakdown ten years back, all day and night and visible to others. At the time I worried that I'd had some sort of mini stroke. Once I recovered it went away.

It just goes to show that the best thing to do is see a doc if you are worried, self diagnosing or leaving it to armchair docs is always a bad idea.
