The only thing that freaks me out about it is the paranoia that comes with adding people and having them see how few facebook friends I have.

Most people seem to have hundreds upon hundreds of friends on facebook, yet I haven't even broken 100. There are a bunch of people at my work who have facebook and one kid added me and I added him back, but it's like I'm too embarrassed to add other people I work with because I don't want them to see how lame it is that I barely have any facebook friends.

I find facebook pretty boring, add lots of people and the only people who talk to me are real life mates or relatives and that isnt many :lol:

Facebook/Myspace

Yes, FB and Myspace freaks me out. I have held out getting a profile because of the thought of people judging me. Even typing the few posts on this website causes me anxiety. I am not sure why. A lot of people feel free to be themselves on the internet. If I posted a profile I would constantly be wondering who was looking at my profile. I am not sure why it bothers me. :roll:

All social networking sites freak me out. Its like an advertising system for people trying to be cool and popular. I hate that.

I don't even have any friends, so, since facebook's supposed to be a place for people & their real life friends/acquaintances, I'd be all alone lol. I wouldn't have any friends on there, so what's the sense in it? There'd be no point. I would if I had friends, though... most likely.

Facebook, Myspace, I don't have any of that crap. I only have a couple of friends so it's not worth it. And the last thing I'd want is to add strangers and have them find out personal info about me and/or judge me. Especially since in the interwebz people can hide behind their screens and act even more pathetically offensive/mean then in real life...

I quit facebook because it's full of people pretending to be something they are not. It's basically full of teenage chavs. I think it's lame seeing white kids on there dressing and acting like gangster rappers. That's just the observation i have made.

I think facebook is there for people to go ''Look how many friends i have on my list!''.....I bet most of them are people they have never actually met anyway!

People from school who try to add me are fucking doucebags who are only interested in comparing how 'well' they've done with how 'well' i've done.

It's all a goddamn popularity contest.

i made a facebook account a few days ago and i didn't write anything on my profile. i use it to play games and do quizzes and randomly add people to challenge lol.

I have facebook account and 2 friends there. So i don't use it. Because i get in touch with them via skype or cellphone. Like others said - it's too stupid. Maybe someday if i will ever need to reach someone i will use it. I don't like when people comparing me to something and i think people there like to compare each others... Who has a better car or better foto or more "friends"... I sometimes hear when my flatmate brags to his friend that he has some star or strip dancer in his friend list. But in real life his friends are no better than somebodys else. So yes it's freaks me out.
