Classic, epic or just great films you've not yet seen.

Casablanca is one of the few classics I have not seen yet. I don't know why, but Humphrey Bogart doesn't catch my interest at all. I could never see what all the fuss about him was.

Movies I never saw but wanted to where some of these.

Howl's Moving Castle (It's made by the same man who made Spirited Away. 'Nuff said.)
Despicable Me (I was sceptical at first but a lot of my friends and even some of my favorite reviewers thought it was a pretty good movie.)
Legend of the Guardians (I am SO STOKED to see this film! It's like... the definition of beauty in my eyes from what I can see from the trailers. Not to mention I ADORE the song "Kings and Queens" by 30 seconds to Mars.)
The Secret of Kells ( a friend of mine showed me a video of some music from it and I really like the celtic feel but I can't find the movie anywhere on Youtube)

Also, I haven't seen any of the movies you guys have mentioned.

I'm still dieing to see The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy. Seems like great fun. Still want to see that new Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr too.

blade runner is a strange movie. i like scifi...but the story kinda sucked. but the coolest thing about the movie is the special fx and the soundtrack is awesome.

I was reading the other thread about movie villans and i realised that alot of the listed films i hadnt seen. I've never seen the Sixth Sense, i found out how it ended by watching 50 First Dates in which its explained.

Theres loads of films that people think are classics that i havent seen, so is there anyone else like me yet to watch Blade Runner for example?

Here's my list of films ive yet to see:
The Shawshank Redemption
All the Godfather films
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Goodfellas
Psycho
Memento
Apocalypse Now
Taxi Driver
Raging Bull
Alien (ive seen all the ones after it)
Blade Runner
The Shining
A Clockwork Orange
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Sixth Sense
Donnie Darko
I haven't seen any of these except the last 2.

Add to that:
Avatar
Star Wars
Matrix
The thing about popular movies that I haven't seen, is that I don't remember what they are...

I've not seen Casablanca either. Growing up i was made to watch musicals so i know alot of Doris Day films and songs.

And Donnie Darko is supposed to be a cult film, i did buy it many years ago but never watched it.

Donnie Darko is awesome! I suggest when you watch it that you pay close attention though because it can be confusing.

I havent seen any Lord of The Rings movies. I hear they are awesome but my attention span is short as hell and I know how long they are. Are they really worth it or is it just some fad for everyone to love the lord of the rings?

Its an excellent story, I actually had no intention of seeing it when I first heard of it, but ended seeing it anyways. It is very long 3 and half hours directors cut per film, but the acting is great, the story is great, it does have some action in it but its mainly a fantasy movie, the action is essential, but not the focus.
It would be understandably difficult for someone to sit through.
