Interesting point.....it says that before the Spanish conquest, tamales were an important ritual food offered to various gods at their appointed festivals. And certain Tamales containing specific ingredients were offered to specific Gods. I wonder how they chose which type of Tamale to give to which God? :thinking:
^Banned for alluding to the fact that I should be murdered, sliced open, and fed to foreign Gods all while forcing me to thank you for educating me on a little known-about topic.
Another interesting point.....there are actually real tamales in the refrigerator as I write this. I recommend tamales to you all.
