Anyone else look really young?

Aside from the SA I have a hard time dating because I look way younger then my true age. I'm 34, but people think I'm 19, or 20 at the oldest. Women my age think I'm way younger, and the people who think I'm their age are too young for me. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Does it cause you problems when it comes to dating?

I am 36 but I know I don´t look like it. I feel strange saying that when someone asks me. The lowest age I got guessed recently is 17, highest 28. Normally people guess about 20-25. I also feel like that, I don´t feel 36. I imagine people of my age like people who have lived their life and have it almost behind, whereas I didn´t live anything, I am still the same as I was before.

YEA! same here! I've always had a baby face. I think my older brothers used up all the testorerone! I'm 26 and I'm still not sure if I've quite finished puberty yet! But I've noticed that this seems to be quite common amoung SA-ers. Will be interesting to see how many people reply to your thread.

I think looking young has it's perks though....up until 18-21ish everyone wants to look old, but after that it all reverses and everyone wants to look young again!

as for dating, my problem is that I feel young too, and so I find that I'm rarely attracted to girls my age, cause they all look and act like adults!!!!! and I'm still a kid!!!! But then girls younger than me I think probably think of me as too old for them! so it's tricky....but there's plenty of fish in the sea!

lol thats so true, when i show my ID then all grannys are like wow you look so young, or some are lookin shockingly, and there are some like police officers who think my ID's are fake


I think most people with SA look young, because the cell production and all that stuff is slowed down, like same if someone eats almost nothing every day, the bodys growth will slow down. I saw that on discovery channel lol

I think I've almost always looked younger than what I really am- I remember a time when I was 15 a relative I hadn't seen in a while was like "How old are you now, 12?" lol
I am now 30, and I know I could easily pass for 25, maybe even younger. Maybe that's why the only guys I notice taking interest in me are teenagers.::::

I totaly look alot younger than I am.Im nearly 24 and often get asked for id and stuff,especialy if i shave and it doesnt help that im a short arse But when i tell someone how old i am sometimes they are totaly shocked or dont believe me,or point me out to a mate and say look how small he is for 23 like im some sort of freak show.

I get told i look about 17.Some people say i should be gratefull but i think it sucks :: Its hard to feel manly and stuff when you think you still look like a kid.I do get told i look my age in my face...and i act my age when i talk and stuff but it still sucks.Especialy when i get like 14 year old girls wolf whisteling at me.Thats not even funny lol.

Nice to know im not the only one tho.Doesnt really affect my dating cos i used to date girls a bit younger than me,my gf now is older than me tho and i do feel more like her little brother sometimes :: But thats just me being insecure tho and i couldnt be happier.

You look much younger than 36. I thought you were maybe even younger than me.

I do dress in jeans most of the time but it's my face that makes me look young. At my last job my co-workers dressed down more than me but they didn't look like kids. lol I'm attending college now, and students who are over 10 years younger than me and dress more casually than me have thought they were older than me lol It's embarrassing telling people my age cuz they're shocked & make a big deal about it, so now I refuse to tell people my age and just say, "I'm way older than I look". This one classmate replied to that statement by guessing that I was 20. haha lol

Or... you just might look your age. Not to give you false hope, but it is a possibility. Otherwise there's always Botox.

Yep, I can agree too. I'm 21 and from the pictures I took in Hawaii this fall I honestly look about 15 years old. It's kind of annoying...but when I think about it...sssoooooo many people want to look much younger than what they are...maybe it's a gift LOOOOL.

I don't think I look really young, or old... or whatever. I don't see how looking young is really such a *bad* thing. I mean, maybe it's annoying sometimes, but at least you don't look 10 years older than you are!
