I wash my hands many times a day. Is this a form of OCD?

Quite often when I'm talking to somebody, they will talk over me. I don't know if it's because I wasn't talking loud enough and they couldn't hear me or if it's because they think that what I'm saying is unimportant. Does this every happen to you?

When I'm out in public, quite often my eyes will open big without me realizing. Some people who see me will open their eyes big on purpose. I don't know why they do this, if they're making fun of me or what. Does this ever happen to you?

Is anyone else not able to see the post icons? All I see is text that says things like Arrow or Question instead of an arrow or a question mark. I also can't see the confused smilie. I guess this site still needs some work.

I see some people have green reputation but are still "an unknown quantity at this time". How many rep points does one need to be "on a distinguished road". Also, I belong to another vBulletin forum that shows who reps me in my user cp, but here it doesn't. Can that be changed? I'd like to know...

I thought shy was just a word people used to describe their social phobia.

My psychologist suggested to me that I try getting assistance from the disabilities office at my university for my social anxiety. So my question is, have any of you gotten assistance for social anxiety. And if so, what kind? I'm not sure if it's worth it. I'm not liking school so much anymore :(

Some people on another forum they had bad experiences with it and had permanent side effects. Today the psychiatrist prescribed me a higher dosage. I hadn't been feeling any side effects so I wasn't gonna tell him I wanted to stop taking it just because of things I'd heard from a couple people...
