These tests are useless because I could've gone either way on 70% of the questions depending on how I interpret them (in fact, I've taken it before and I'm pretty sure the results were wildly different). It's just a really awful selection of questions. For example, "Do you consider your needs to be more important to you than the needs of others?" If it comes right down to it and someone has to die, I'd rather it be some random stranger than me... if you don't consider your needs more important than others then I think there's something wrong with you.

As a highly schitzotypal person, it explains that I have
* Odd or eccentric mannerisms or appearance
* Superstitious or preoccupied with paranormal phenomena
* Difficult to follow speech patterns
* Feelings of anxiety in social situations
* Suspiciousness and paranoia
* Odd beliefs or magical thinking
* Appears shy, aloof, or withdrawn to others

Yet back in reality, I have no odd mannerisms or appearance that I'm aware of, zero supernatural/paranormal/religious beliefs, perfectly normal speech patterns when I actually talk, no paranoia (I'm a fairly trusting sort), no magical thinking or beliefs that I'd consider especially odd. It's correct that I'm shy, withdrawn and anxious but that hardly implies that I'm schitzotypal.

It's pretty bad when a test can ask me to describe myself in detail, then spit back something totally different as the result. Horoscopes are more accurate.

So, please, don't anyone take their results seriously or believe you've collected a new disorder.

yea, I don't think it's accurate either. The questions were vague and misleading.

Antisocial Personality Disorder means you're a psychopathic hoodlum... it doesn't mean you don't talk. "The essential feature for the diagnosis is a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood."

Anti-social is just another name for sociopaths. I don't know why it's called anti-social, since it's like not that at all. I mean they're often really good at being social, and charming people, etc. Oh and psychopathic hoodlums are HOT, well not really, Maybe, I don't know, Hmmmm!!

Lol, looks fine until those last three. Yeah, that sounds a lot like me. I do avoid social situations and I am something of a mama's and poppa's boy. Interesting test. Definitely a level of truth to it.

I was expecting the avoidant and dependant to be high but am somewhat befuzzled by the paranoid. Maybe that speaks for itself, however.

I think the avoidant one is accurate- but I don't think I'm dependent or OCD at all- some of the questions I was answering in terms of over my lifetime- and I think the depression that I was in for my teens and early 20s caused the dependent answers- and I'm admittedly kind of a perfectionist, but no where near OCD realm.
