The sports in the UK compete as well to a certain extend to get fans into the stadiums
.Football clubs competing with rugby clubs,Horse racing clubs etc.It seems for some sport has almost taken the place of religion in their lives.In parts of England like Liverpool, Newcastle there are generation of people supporting one club and there are fierce rivileries between the local teams and supporters.In Liverpool you are either an Everton or a Liverpool fan.Out of interest what sort of anxiety and related issues do you have if you dont mind me asking.

I'm glad you're doing good. Yeah, its been a long time. I'm doing okay, not enjoying all that but just hanging on.

Im a pretty big film fan when Im in the mood particuraly in regards to comedy films and animated films.Sports particularly football(soccer) is taken very seriously in Britain and else were.The sport is taken too seriously in fact by some.Its seems to be almost a religion for the hardcore fans.I have followed sports like football,F1,World Superbikes for years.Do many Australian take sports very seriously or is that a stereotype.

Even though these shows are meant to entertain,tv shows can infleunce young peoples views about the world.Interestingly in alot of these animated shows the wife stays at home and is not career oreintated.Its abit worrying to be honest but I do tend to over anaylse things at times thoughAre you a film or sports fan.

American Dad does make laugh but itn go over the top at times in regards to being tasteful.Its interesting the amount of father figures there are in the main animated tv series, that have extreme behavior.Simpsons,American Dad,Futarama,Family Guy all have male figures that are either stupid,right winged,agressive,etc.

There are good animators from britain, the far east who probably along with the Americans are making these shows.I remember Captain Planet and I use to really like the fact that he came from the earth and he faught to protect it.Interestingly at the time and up to the present, there have not been many environentally themed shows.Brave star ,He man and the Thundercats were other shows that was interesting.Another animated show called Defenders of the Earth,I really liked.There was a british guy called Gerry Anderson who along with his wife made brillent poppet shows like the Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet.These shows had elaborate stories,minature vehicles etc.His shows ran on british tv for years and were exported overseas.

Its a shame that you dont have homegrown animation.I grew up watching alot of british animated and poppet shows with some US shows thrown in.Shows like the Mr Men,Noddy,Thunderbirds,Dangermouse,Count Duckula.Unfortunetly there are more and more imports from places like the US .Alot of it is pretty good and I do watch some of it but its harder to find british animationfind

The singing episodes are strange.It must be hard to keep coming up with original and funny jokes aling new stories.Are there any Australian animated tv series that you watch or have watched.A few british shows that may not of made it to Australia that I really liked growing up,were Dangermouse,Count Duckula,Rubarb and custard.
