hi, yeah the North has a totally different dialect to the South, you find that there are far fewer Welsh speakers in the south. The North has the genuine Welsh language.
Did you notice how everywhere almost has the name ''LLan''?
I've only been to cardiff twice, and to South Wales for that matter. There's a North - South divide for sure! Doesn't help that there's no carriageway o'r motorway connecting North Wales to South.
I live only 15 miles from Holyhead. Did you stay around Holyhead? South stack is nice. -
