do you like to groom yourself?

I do LOL. I like combing my hair to get circulation and for it to look nicer. I like washing my face w/ a cleanser and using the facial scrub though sometimes I'm lazy.

That's great. Caring about yourself is important and self-care actually is something I have trouble with. I think for me it stems from low self-esteem which is a total drag. I really have to force myself to care about tangles in my hair and mud on my boots. I actually I have made my life around not caring about those things because it is so hard for me. It's totally biting me in the a$$ right now with a lot of physical issues I have neglected. I am calling the chiropractor right now and the physical therapist. :) Who knows maybe I will get my hair professorially cut and styled someday soon?
What is your hair like Lily? Mine is fine and has a lot of curl and body so brushing it can make it frizzy. I let it dry naturally lately instead of blow drying it and its actually growing a ton since I stopped to heat abuse-cool! I want to invest in a really good brush though. Fine hair is a pain!

I actually put a little effort into my appearance for the first time in about 10 years today... I even put on... cologne.

I shave my head myself and let my beard grow until it's about 6 inches long. Then I cut it off when it starts to defeat the purpose and become more trouble than it's worth. It's all utilitarian, bare-minimum maintenance. No, I do not care for grooming. :p

Not really. Although I discovered shaving cream in hospital. Much less discomfort when shaving. I have my hair cut short so I don't have to comb it.

100%, mine is so fine and frustrating as all hell that I could probably steal your tangled hair crown and rule unopposed [/QUOTE

😂 Loyal I have a messy, tangled fine hair from hell xperience today at the chiropractor.
She gave me a hair tie half way through my appointment and said “here use this tie and put that STUFF on the top of your head”
She called the messy mop “stuff” too ...that killed me....😂
Now I really don’t want to get it cut lol

i don't like the times when my hair would go one side in and one side out after it dries or the wind messes up my hair, that's why you could cut your hair in a way that it doesn't do that- is your hair soft? there r oils you can use but i don't use it bc it made my hair guey.
Its definitely easier to style hair if you use a dryer and straighten the way you want but it’s really hard on it so I don’t anymore. I don’t use any products in it bc it weighs it down too much and looks dirty-
I have some natural curls that look better than trying to straighten it out anymore. I like curly hair of its not too curly..

I s
To describe it best how my hair looks like you should look at page 765 in the upper middle portion in the post your picture thread. except now i didn't quite get a good haircut so my hair-cut doesn't look as great as that one now but i don't have tangles in my hair.
im too lazy to look for your pic can you post a link? I think I remember seeing it maybe.

lowkey looks like that would be soothing af, then again maybe Im part horse or dog haha

Haha yeah that’s me too!

but it would be weird someone brushing me though I think...but your supposed to do it yourself..now that sounds more fun being brushed by someone else maybe🤔 someone brushing my hair can feel good if it’s not tangled lol I have horrible memories of it being to hard to get a comb through when I was a wild child.

Did you ever try that hair dying cap that has all those holes you need to pull the hairs out of with a hook? That was 100% the most painful hair "styling" technique that I ever endured. People trying to brush my hair was bad enough, but that cap was absolute hell

Oh the horror! Yes!
But I did get a pretty good result a few times with that awful cap on so yeah suffering was worth it.

Honestly I only tried it once and I dont think I made it far enough to actually use it, I'd rather foils, might not look as good but at least its not tearing my hair out
