photo (2).jpg I painted this one with a nasty crayola paint set and brush(except for the gold of course, that's wall paint) but it turned out better than I thought it would so yay.

I literally have a 3 foot stack of old paintings I should seriously get rid of haha.

^Thanks!
Just getting into the 3D stuff myself.
Prefer actual clay...holding it in my hands.

On a related note...

Super rough clay sculpt.
Still alot of work to do.

wow, this is really great! I was going over this thread again and I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question but, some of these are made on the computer? interseting. But you made this out of clay right?
really neat.

The frustrating thing about machines is that you can't really cheat articulation, so you have to design and test every little piece meticulously, and think ahead three steps at all times. But, it's worth it.

This is a futuristic interpretation of a forklift. A person would stand inside, strapped in a body tracking exoskeleton and operate the robot with their own limbs. This particular unit has an A.I. modded inside it, which in context of the character's universe is very, very illegal.

I was thinking about learning to draw and later on learning to paint using computer software. Any thoughts/suggestions?

I'm trying to learn to draw, but I never feel like it. Only made 6 drawings since January. I'm going to try to draw everyday for the rest of this month. Here's a lamp I drew, did most of it on the 31st of May and finished the rest today: the long thing, whatever it is called). It didn't turn out very well because I was really dreading drawing those 60 rings (that's on the original, I probably did way less than that), so I just hurried it up.

I can see many mistakes (size, shadows, and so on) but I'm an absolute beginner so it's understandable. I don't even know how to draw shadows, I just left white spaces and discovered by accident that gently passing the rubber did a pretty good job of making the overall colouring more consistent.
Anyway, here it is (lamp on the left, I just printed it and copied it; mine on the right):
