Feel free not to answer this, but are you afraid that the pharmacist is judging you for taking the medication?

I just want to say that you are most certainly not a freak for taking care of yourself! Not at all! In fact, it is very admirable.

I used to feel the same way when I would pick up my medications. Actually, I feel weird whenever I go to pick up my birth control Rx and the male pharmacist is the one to wait on me. I feel slightly weird when the female pharmacists wait on me, but not as much with the male one. I think it's because I feel like they're thinking, 'Oh, she must be sexually active...' even though I really take it for other health reasons.

Eh. Whatevs.

Thanks. But, no. I feel the pharmacist is judging me because I can't look at them for very long.

I feel the same way when I have to buy, you know, female products, and the cashier is a guy. :/

I just picked up my first medication for depression/anxiety. And the girl at the pharmacy was really nice. However, my doctor's office only sent one of my prescriptions over, so now I have to call them tomorrow and get that figured out, which is giving me anxiety. Anyway, I asked the girl which prescription they had received and she whispered, as if some dirty little secret, "Celexa," which did not make me feel too good about myself. Oh well.

I used to be that way, and while picking up birth control pills - but for other reasons I was taking them.

Look at it this way, the pharmacist knows all about the meds you are taking so he/she already realizes you may be shy or timid when picking them up...does that make sense? At least that is how I look at it when I have to pick up meds.

Hang in there...can you go later in the day or early when there are not many people around?

I used to pickup meds at WalMart pharmacy, line was always long. Always get anxious and panic attacks in line. By the time it was my turn, always a unstable sweaty mess. So I switched to a smaller pharmacy, more far away, and more expensive... rarely a line there, in and out within 2 minutes usually.
