Losing weight.

You've all done so well! ^_^

I wish so, so much that I could lose weight... I've lost weight in the past (quite a large amount), but for the past two and a half years, despite constant calorie restriction (Quite severe, I developed an eating disorder which I am currently combating) and exercise, I've actually gained weight... And nothing I can do will make me lose it...

you guys are doing all so well. I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY want to lose 30 pounds. I have started going to the gym. The problem is comfort eating. I don't know what else to do when I'm scared other than stuff my face with 2000 extra calories. :/ Lately every second day feels crisis enough for the excuse to do that. It's the only thing that makes me feel safe. Trying to figure this out....

Whenever that occurs, try going out for a walk. It won't just take you away from the food, it will help you to chop a few calories as well
p.s. - seeing your avatar, I really can't see why a beautiful girl like would like to make a diet, as you are so dazzling without it ^^

Seeing your picture as well, I think it's all in your head, you are avery pretty.
You should not limit yourself so much, as it might become the reason for the weight you've gained. You should eat enough so you won't feel hungry, and do some sport whenever you can

My lunch friend today is losing weight. I told her she doesn't need to, but she wants to do it for her own confidence.

That's good, as long as those who diet are willing to accept that it is a long process, which demands patience. Those who diet to get fast results are going to have a hard time.

I used to think I would get fast results, partly because I was thinking dieting for two days would make me lose everything, partly because commercials tell me I can lose inches off my stomach with no effort, and partly because I was impatient. Now I know I need to work hard for slow effort.

I can relate, used to run for hours, going to bed with growling stomach..not going to make this mistake again

Yeah, I know that. You think you're doing the right thing but you're making it worse. I've lost lots of weight and I'm still eating chocolate. That's the balance.

Now thats the spirit! I read somewhere that chocolate, in reasonable amount, can actually help the dieting process., among other things

Firstly, thank you. :)

I no longer limit myself so much, but I do exercise 5 days a week three times a day and eat very healthily. Nothing's happening in the weight loss department, though thankfully I seem to have stopped gaining it at least... That's the problem with un-restricting yourself... GAINING! Arrrggghhh! lol

3 Times a day?? training for Rio 2016, are we?
Well make sure you eat enough, as if you don't, your body shuts down and clings to every bit of food you eat

Whoa! That's a lot.

Amitush is right: if you're not eating enough, your body will store all of it. It'll think there's a famine going on. Definitely try to eat plenty of food. :)

lol, it's not a lot really, it's only two hours a day (two 30 minutes and 1 hour). I used to do 3 and a half hours a day six days a week, so I have cut down. ;) Plus I am being a good girl and eating more... I now manage to eat 1,400 - 1,500 a day regularly... ^_^Though I did freak out a little the other day when I realised I'd missed something when totaling up calories and ended up eating 1,668... Had to cut down the next day and only eat 1,254... See, I am beating the eating disorder slowly, but I'm still in the thinking...

Well, it depends on your weight, but I am doing sports about 1.5 hours a day amnd eat about 2000 calories..make you sure you eat enough, you're putting your body through some hard work, it needs food to replanish his powes.
And try not to punish yourself if you eat too much on day, those 200 calories extra are quite meaningless for someone who works out like you

One workout for one hour is actually plenty. I hope these workouts you're doing aren't too intense!

I could eat 1500 calories in one meal. And I sometimes do and I'm still losing 1kg+ per week. I think you've got the foundations in place for weight loss but please don't burn yourself out. :)

I eat well, but also eat junk food,on the weekends I cant resist and I have to buy junk food, well from now on I will try not to or do it in a controled way.:)

Me too, I can't resist eating junk foods, sometimes snacking time is not complete without them. Though I am controlling myself not to eat too much of them. I am not in the state of losing weight, but I am maintaining my weight, maybe my doing of regular exercise helps me a lot.

I want Pizza!! ::(: I can't reach an agreement with myself whether to order one today or to remain true to my diet..what a battle!
