I just finished Half Life ep 1 & 2. Good thing 2's ending wasn't much of a cliff hanger unlike the previous episode. Valve is such a tease.

I also replayed Portal after 2 years and finished it under 3 hours. Kinda funny because back then I thought Portal was a long game. I didn't expect to finish it this quickly this time around.

Yeah my computer can't play games for ****.

Mostly my taste in games revolve around my Wii. I did get Sonic Unleashed, Generations, and LBP for PS3 though. But thats more of the family thing, they mostly use it for Netflix/Blu ray. I've just been using it to play Generations lately though. Man, I dont think I'll ever get tired of this game.

My silliness aside. If I did play any of the games you guys are talking about I wouldn't know. It's like you guys are speaking another language.

I love to play harvest moon games, rune factory, and rhythm games.

Anyone play Dance Dance revolution?

DO WANT. I've had my eye on this game since 2009. I shall be on the character create screen for agesss.

Anyone else going to be giving Tera a try? I feel like I'm the only person in the UK who has even heard of it! I went into my local Game and asked one of the managers if he'd heard of it and he said he hadn't. Neither had any of the staff on the shop floor. o_O


@Shyangel I like DDR, but I am rubbish at it. Teach me a dance, fine, I can do it, DDR though? Nope. So I like to stand on the back of the mat when my friends play it so they lose. >_>


I am also still going through Dragon Age. Because I love it so. I do not care that I have played it over 100 times since buying it in 2009, I still love it. Alistair. ALISTAIR. Your love of cheese and hair obsession match my own. x_x

I wanted to finally play Twilight Princess, but it turns out Gamecubes don't get along well with HDTV's. I'm considering getting a Wii. Wii's play Gamecube games too, right?

(I know the game is out for the Wii too, but I prefer Zelda games the old fashion way.)

I think you can play GC games in a WII (I have a WII and if I'm not wrong there is that option).

I played that game and it's good.

Oh awesome. I guess I'll just Google it to make sure. :3 It would be awesome to have the ability to play both GC and Wii games.

Started playing the very first Silent Hill on my PS3. It's not really as creepy as I thought.

Woah what? How come your GC doesnt work with your HDTV? :S
Anyway I agree. I knew there was the Wii version - but I too enjoy it with a controller more. Plus that version is mirrored to match the Wii's controls (Link is usually left handed). You should get a Wii to play (GC) Twilight Princess, and get Skyward Sword.

I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with it. I tried to Google is it, and the most common answer you get is that the Gamecube was just never really meant to be played in HD. I guess that gap between the Gamecube and the Wii was when HD was the next apparent step for televisions/console developers.

Yeah, the fact that they mirrored everything put me off greatly. Call me crazy, but it would annoy me SO MUCH to know that that one tree would have been on the other side of the map in the original version. Plus, I'm actually left handed. So what they fixed kinda works vice versa for me.

I just finished The Darkness 2 demo. Hell. Yes.

I totally remember why I loved the first one so much. The bit that I saw in the demo of the sequel doesn't disappoint one bit. I'm not even the slightest bit annoyed by the new visual style.

Totally going to pre-purchase this on Steam.

I'm playing random Steam games, mostly Valve ones, while waiting for some particular games to come out. I bought a pack on Steam last summer which has every single Valve game ever in it for an extremely cheap price :D

I see them getting alot of hate...but i'm super excited.
