Post your random thoughts/feelings etc

not actually Fiona Apple
I'll give you two random thoughts.
First, lately I've been noticing a lot in my text I have been mixing up the same letters repeatedly. Specifically I've been switching m/w and p/b. I would usually think random typos but it's been happening consistently, and the keys are no where near each other on the keyboard. And they're also the upside down letters of each other. I don't think dyslexia develops this late in life, but this is getting weird (and a tad annoying).

The other thought I've been throwing around in my head is about ends and means. Which is more important, which should be more important. In academics it's the means (for me), in that I'd rather fail honestly than succeed through cheating. But are the means always more important? At what point should the end be considered, or is that of no object at all? It's not really a complete thought, just what's been running through my head.

Note: I do NOT endorse this view of the world at all. I just found it humorous.

Got it from someone on this site. So thank you, person-who-will-remain-anonymous-unless-otherwise-requested.

Hehe.

:) I love that all the other countries/continents shrunk except good 'ol America. Wooo! We're #1!

I saw this one on Tumblr. It's pretty good.

I don't suppose anyone on forum is a registered nurse?
I may be having a medical emergency...
...but I'm too terrified of telephones and don't want to go sit in the emergency room. hahaaaaa

My mother is. You could talk to her, I suppose, but it would be better if you called the hospital. You can do it!

Today's to do list:

-Take a shower
-Go meet friends for coffee
-Go get booze for my birthday party tomorrow
-Go to the store and get some groceries
-Go get some animal food for my Chinchilla
-Go to the cinema to see the three musketeers

Why does this seem like a hassle?

Hey, what happened? ::(:

just stupid high school drama. i'm in a wedding tomorrow and the other bridesmaids and the bride are supposed to be coming to my house tonight for the 'girls' night. well, i've been running around like crazy getting everything set up, buying champagne, fruit, cheese, breakfast stuff, making sure the house is spotless,etc... and turns out, while i was doing all this work, they had a girls night without me last night and didn't bother to invite me or tell me about it. So now, they're all hungover and tired. i took the whole day off work to help decorate the venue and they aren't even there yet and didn't bother to tell me they weren't going to be there til much later and i could have come to work to get paperwork done.

i'm just hurt and frustrated. i spent a ridiculous amount of money on champagne and stuff. when they already had their girls night last night on their own.

it sounds stupid and petty for me to be hurt and so upset by it...but i am.

as usual, i'm the odd one out.

Now I know why you called them b**ches...

You made the right thing anyway, it's them who should feel bad! Ugh, how sad is that some people are like that....

*hugs*

Trying to look on the bright side, if you let me, at least you now better who you can trust or not. When bad things happen is when we learn, I guess.

Well that would piss me off big time, I would probably not go to the wedding and blank these people. Not that that's the best thing to do ofcourse, but I would get some satisfaction from causing them inconvenience.

i was pretty tempted to not go...but i've already spent the money on the stupid bridesmaid dress and all the stuff to go with it. *sigh*

plus even though what they're doing/did is really ****ty, my twisted stupid mind would still make me feel guilty for not showing up for something i promised to do.

they treat me like an afterthought, and i'd still feel guilty retaliating. go figure.

thanks mr.j... i agree with your bright side view. at least now i know i can't rely on any of them to treat me like a human being that requires consideration and respect.

I know it can be hard to accept that you are better off without some people, but sometimes it's the only thing we can do.

Good luck on the wedding, but try to show them that you don't give a damn about them ;)

MrJones, forget the 'pussies', we both are now live in the old Mexico o_O

They should've added:
'Leprechauns' to Ireland
'Illegal Stuff' to the Netherlands
'Fish & Chips' to the rest of the UK
::p:
Haha
Maybe the fact that every tourist that comes here buys Mexican hats (or "sombreros") is not helping :p

unfortunately, i don't know how to do that...i'll just fake it and be all smiley and nice...everyone's perfect little lapdog. then when it's over i'll just never speak to her again.

i don't need a friend like that. i'm not that desperate for people spend time with me. f**k em.

To be honest, I wouldn't know how to do it either... well, maybe the best is just being yourself and doing just what you feel like doing in the moment.

And you are right, you are too good to suffer for people like them. They say friends come and go. Well, they don't have a place in your life, let's see if you meet someone better ;)

Hey hun, just seen your posts.

My advice. Doll yourself up to the nines, Walk in there with your head held high, Show them that you are strong, Speak only when spoken to and in short to the point sentences. Then when It's all over keep your head up and walk out.

Show them that they do not get to you and what they have to say is beneath you.

You go girl.....

That's really rude. I don't blame you for being upset. You should totally skip the wedding and throw an awesome party for your family and non-assholish friends sometime this weekend.

You went with the guy drinking liquor on his own? You realise that post may say you didn't do THAT, but it does imply you did SOMETHING?

Ohh~ the grocery stores extend into Canada but the bars don't... is that because everyone knows all we have are pancake houses and igloos?
