Hi people. I'm not sure if I have SAD, I can't afford a diagnose, but In every internet test I've made (yes, I know, not much accuracy there) the result is the same: "you're very likely to have it, you should go to get it diagnosed by a doctor", same results with Asperger's tests.

But a thing that doesn't sound very SAD or aspie to me is that I've worked as a saleman, succesfully, not the top one but didn't get fired either. Still, is very hard for me to socialize, specially with women. For now I think I'll go to hang out to the shyness forum. See you around.

PD: I'm Colombian and I learned most of my english self-taught, so excuse my language mistakes.

Firstly i want to say, i think you should go to your doctor about this. I know you said you cant afford it but is there another way...?...i dont know and none of us are experts...well actully we technically are specialists!!!

If you explain some of the symptoms you feel, where and when, it will give us an idea of what you have to face...

First, the Hitchhiker's Guide is AWESOME! Second, everyone has their limits as far as SP goes. You may feel comfortable talking to people as a salesman, but not as a regular person. I had some moderate success as a sales associate, but I'm inept in real life.

I can't argue with that. A friend of mine put the letter U in a very weird place. He couldn't walk for a week afterwards.
